Kevin Hart once said "Everyone wants to be famous, but nobody wants to put in the work" Same goes with photography, people want to get clients... but nobody wants to grind their way by doing stuff for free, you need to network first show your skills then you'll land deals.
This video is an absolute rip off of an @northborders video from 4 months ago. Tons of people copy video ideas but yours was the same topic, subject, structure and some of the script lines might as well have been word for word. Not the right way to grow your channel.
@@youungbeezy Yeah a circular polariser, I've tried them, the reflections are just too strong, I love them for shooting from the outside of a car, to the inside, but for a UA-cam setup, you really just need to get the lighting done right, and that takes time
For me a lockdown hobby turned into a obsession and now got 4 ongoing paying clients :) and building it up! loving the process of it all. :) Love these edits Ben love the colours!! are these new presets??
it's hard to just do it for fun for me. A lot of the time i don't have any friends that are interested in photography and it's hard finding cool subjects if you don't have money to make concepts or travel. In my case in live in Jamaica which is lacking when it comes to architecture, cars/motorcycles. i went to nyc and since i've come back i haven't taken anything I'm satisfied with
Start experimenting with different techniques like macro photography or using long exposures. Wake up for sun rise and be out at sunset, cut the bottom off a coke can and glue some leaves in there and put it in front of your lens - point it at shit until you see something interesting - the are no limits to what you can do. I once found a brown crunched up leaf and brought it inside, put it in front of a bright window and made some amazing black and white photos that I love to this day. I know it's hard to force creativity, but watch some more videos for ideas and start trying them without any expectations or pressure on yourself to make something perfect. You'll have more fun and the creativity will start to flow.
I'm a videographer and filmmaker. Found this video super helpful. A lot of the tips you mentioned, I myself do it (like filming with my friends voluntarily for fun or for learning). Really helped me a lot in my experience and also finding clients.
Tbh, when I used to shoot a bit, what worked best for me was connections. My photos were dog compared to my friends, but I got a few gigs simply because the person knew me personally. Go meet people, network is important🙏🏼
I think it's much easyer contacting in real world then making contacts online with brands. For example i only have 600 followers and not many companies would see my stuff. But when all your collegues know that you di photos they come and ask you to do stuff. And then it starts rolling
As a beginner trying to learn photography and filmmaking, how did you learn the science of composition, lightroom, premiere pro? Did you take online courses if so which do you recommend?
rule number 1 if you want to make money as a photographer. be actually good at taking photos
that will all come with practice 🔥

Can you make a review video for the cinematic pictures for this movie.
" The Lady Of heaven" 2M views at trailer

I agree with that 100000%
I do love just doing shoots with my mates , paid work is good but just having fun with photography and cinematography is enough for me
Fk with this mindset
Have you ever done a camera setting video? If not I would love to see and I’m sure a lot of other people would as well

how to set up lighting and not have reflections in glasses, that would be a great tutorial lol
Polariser?
@@T3yte Yeah tried that, doesn't work
Not just any polorizer a CPL filter.

and a better title
Its very difficult to work for free when you have bills and rent/mortgage, but I get what you're saying.
Yes, but that's why you usually start while still having your "day" job
Facts and basically depends on location/country/city where you live
