I do not need to understand him but that growl of the badass motor is universal understanding, yes, you are all insane and we love it keep it coming. thanks for the awesome job on filming too.
race application is quite different to ultimate reliability application. often they overlap, but remember that in racing of any kind, the car is almost rebuilt at least several times over the course of a season. everything is checked, and small faults are found and fixed, before they become major issues. these particular vehicles are obviously very easy to work on and simple. all bodes well for electrics. personally, for ultimate reliability, no spare parts scenario, no electronics is the go.
Insane? Sure, but more than that, it is the Icelandic national sport. I tried to school the Danes back in 1990, and started the first dedicated offroad extra gear shop in Denmark but trying to get Danes to learn new tricks requires a lot of carrots on sticks. My business went down, but I enjoyed what I did, and am sure that I helped bringing the sport and 4x4 interest to a higher plan. Love this stuff. Now living in South America... missing the real action.
Can the teams simply cut off, old worn-out scoops and glue new ones on? Or do you have to buy new tyres? Man, I wish they did this in New Zealand! I'd want to try it. For many years I was a member of the Toyota Landcruiser club, and the the Quad Drive club - but it was in totally stock vehicles.
I would like to see myself doing that too.yes, you think insane is a good word to describe this and I think insane is not a good word to describe this.now we're cool.
I guess you want us to know the engine is the Grave Digger! I guess you want us to know the engine is the Grave Digger! I guess you want us to know the engine is the Grave Digger! You talkin about an off road monster that weighs less than a honda civic and more horsepower than the corvette..... i dont find it insane... i would do that in a heart beat
they use nitro on over 1000 hp,they walk on water and shit and they feel fun not insane.but probably you are from united stated and you have that history of hyperbolize things to look extreme, look for sensational names etc.but this insane team is good though.nice vid.
I know it is extreme use of twisting and turning the language. Denmark and hills... and then there is the issue with Danish legislation and Danish mentality... everything is forbidden, even replacing the standard tires of a car with tires that are just a little bigger or smaller, is forbidden by law. Lift kits for cars... totally forbidden. Replacing old style head-lights with more modern, better and brighter... illegal. Not a country where this heavenly sport can grow big and strong.

why do you have too call this shit "insane" because the icelanders about 20 years ago did this shit without calling them other than passionate.
