His mom taught me how to make pasta sauce So dude stop generalizing all americans the same because of what you see on Tv because We arent the same .
That is exactly what I made last nite with my garden tomatoes ( the largest and best giant tomatoes in many years)Also grew all the herbs and other veggies !!! Love to watch you prep dinner on a regular basis !!!❤❤❤

Do this for about 45 seconds and then add in your tomatoes. Continually stir the pan/ pot to ensure the garlic isn’t being continuously cooked in one place and thus it won’t burn

Wait until you discover indian, chinese, and indonesian seasoning 😅. Edit : also, italian cuisine is not that vegan friendly. It's asian culinary that more of vegan friendly. Indian, chinese, indonesian.. But indian cuisine love to use lots of dairy(ghee, butter), chinese cuisine love to use lots of pork stuff(oil, lard) and oyster-fish sauce. Only indonesian that safer, i guess. But since they're muslim majority, they love their goat & beef because there is annual eid al adha day. But still they eat majority tempe and tofu in their daily diet i think 😊 Man.. Your seasoning journey still a long way to go.

You should sauté fresh parsley with the.garlic - it makes your sauce more flavorful and it is how it is traditionally done- no matter what you are sautéing always the balance of the garlic and parsley

I remove the skin from the tomatoes and near the end of the simmering, I add a generous nugget of unsalted butter or ghee. Talk about creamy and a bit sweeter bc butter or ghee reduce the acidity from the tomatoes 🤷♀️
