Tempted to give it a go? There are regular dances all around England. If you’re in London, try our weekly Thursday evening classes at Cecil Sharp House: www.cecilsharphouse.org/englishcountrydancing
This looks like what we used to learn at school
Same here! I just googled it as I wondered if people still did it, and here we are!
Looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing :) That old girl with long blonde hair in the black tights and maroon dress top looks mighty fine for her age. I like her style. I hope I'll age as well as she has!
I’m suddenly back in my 1970s primary school
Woooow🤩😍
That's very cool! 😃
This looks so fun!
Good like lively music
I want to do this!
Take a look at www.efdss.org/calendar-events for local events...
What is the dance in this video called and what is the music? Music teach and would like to teach this to my 6th graders. Thank you!
Actually several different dances are shown. For some dance suggestions take a look at our Resource Bank, eg www.efdss.org/learning/resources/resources-listing/3013-creative-folk-dance-primary - and there are many more resources at www.efdss.org/learning/resources/resources-listing?topics=dance
Learn a dsnce called turning by threes..
What dance is this?
Bet the musician was really chuffed to be dubbed out
How sad eh, but, it was probably very boring, at least the dubbed music was jazzier, an upbeat folk and dance tune, but nothing quite like Greek dancing aka Zorba the Greek.
i had no idea that this was a real "thing" . I find country music and dancing very funny and i was amazed to find that people actually listen and dance to this awful sound . i thought they were on a comedy show , all dressed up as Howdy Doody aiming for the spitoon . I guess its for folk who dont get out much and know no better . Its good for a laugh now and again but really ? . Each to their own i suppose but not for me .
Who exactly on this video is dressed up as Howdy Doody? Everyone looks dressed normally to me.
