    The Cave of Giant Crystals in Naica, Mexico show that the melt transformed structure into crystal that looks EXACTLY like ice!
    And the photos of them show they look like huge columns!

    this video reminds me of a few cartoons i once saw, one of which was an episode of duck tales, where an entire city was made of blocks of ice. kinda makes one wonder a bit.

    Take a close look at the ice formation starting at 6:41. It's two heads and two faces. The one on the left is resting on the right side of its head and the one on the right is resting on the left side of its head.

    I suppose in the ice some melting could create pockets of air eventually warming and melting from within (?) then the whole thing 'calves'. Maybe magma rock does the same thing, creating domes and arches naturally which inspired builders thru the ages as they borrowed design from the natural world (?)
