I point at a crane at Bristol's Dock Festival

So any day that you can tick two things from your bucket list is a good day right?
Well that's exactly what I did when I went to the Bristol Dock festival organised by Mshed recently
On a beautiful sunny day I got to go inside the amazing Fairburn Steam crane AND I also got to drive one of the iconic Stothart and Pitt electric dock cranes as well WOW
I also saw steam Locos Tugs and a whole lot more.

Well that certainly was a grand day out! Thank you for sharing it with us. It is such a privilege to see working industrial archaeology. Very little of London's docklands remain and I don't think any of it still works.
