@TMSkinny I just pray jellal, Sting, Rouge, and the other missing/dlc characters from the previous game is brought into this one whether it be a patch or future DLC, what do you think are the chances of any of that happening or how long this game will be supported???
@@tajalbright1147 For the characters that are supports I don't think they'll be playable only because, by technicality, they're already in the game. But I do think there's a chance for more playable characters in the future, just not of the support cast unfortunately.
I’m waiting for switch ver so hopefully they fix some issues with feedbacks, the previous game was fantastic from story to combat and I much preferred 5 members team to try all diverse combos (Lucy was truly OP in that format) it only big flaw was no NG+ which is why i didn’t want to play it again by starting new file.
@@danteredgrave7655 Sting, Rogue, Kagura, Sherria, Ichiya, and none of the DLC characters from the first game are playable here. All names listed above are just support characters now.😔
the 1st fairy tail game is looking better than this new one i know this should not be possible but here we are they had the chance to make this a huge W they turned it into an L instead limited characters and movesets and combos
the game really improved a lot compared to the first one. the world is waaaay bigger and the fighting is better, but yeah, the fact that jellal, sting and the characters that were playable in the first game are not part of the party is very sad, also i didn't like the fact that most of the attacks are reused and Lucy only have like 2 spirits to summon.
Sorry you didn't get to enjoy the story as much as OG fans back in the day. When you followed the manga chapter by chapter, there's a lot of time to mourn/wonder/speculate about potential character deaths between weekly releases. Seriously though, once you understand the writer rarely kills for real, the threat of death loses its bite for all of us.
@gamelover2222 True, I hadn't thought about it like that. Fair enough. Though I can't help but wonder why he bothers putting so many characters in "death" scenarios when he rarely, if ever, commits to it.
@@TMSkinny I think it was a product of the times. None of the biggest manga were killers. People died and came back in Dragonball Z, Bleach and One Piece didn't kill much, and Naruto had a lot of temporary revivals or flashbacks to give characters more "screen-time".

Nice Review man! Saved me time, wish Gust would go back a bit to their action RPG games like Nights of Azure, both were pretty decent.
13:47 I found the thing for me to purchase this tomorrow

@mythrixx_world Yeah, I'm not a fan of these changes either. Huge misstep imo, but I do think the game is still worth checking out.

I just pray it will be supported for a while to get DLC and more characters
W review goat
Jellal maybe make dlc will be disappointing though because he was already on the first one

I hope the same thing can be for Sting and Rouge
How does it work on Nintendo Switch?
@@juliancedeno9752 Can't say, I only played the PS5 ver.
I hope it runs better than the original, performance was the main reason I got this one on steam instead
