They need to bring "Buried Alive Match" back
Even though the mechanics probably wouldn't be any different to Ambulance/Casket, I'd still be happy if they brought it back. It looks cool and there were some iconic ones in real life.
@@SonicHydra they wouldnt be completely different but the buried alive match is way different from the casket/ ambulance match
@@josejh-eb8st The aesthetics of the match are different for sure between Ambulance, Casket and Buried Alive but mechanically they are all 'Wear opponent down and throw them into X, then rapidly tap button indicated to win tug of war meter'. I don't mind that at all by the way. That's the point I'm making. The gameplay wouldn't be drastically different, but I would still love all 3 in the game just for the visual variety.
How bout people stop asking for new match types, cuz I already know what's gonna happen: they put the mode in and AGAIN people will complain, because the game is this or that, you wanted new match types and a broken game? Boy were really having fun now!! NO NEW MATCH TYPES

Traditional Survival Series match, I Quit Match, 3 vs 3 & 4 VS 4 , and special guest referee for every type match not just regular match
I want the iron survivor challenge and the inferno match and the buried alive match and the fight pit
Bring back Create a finisher and/or 3 Stages of Hell match and I’ll buy the game next year

What they need to do with WWE 2K25 Is bring in popular match types that have never been in WWE game before although they have had pay-per-view time in the past, Undertaker, now being a hall-of-famer Was a part of the first ever Punjabi prison match and I feel that should make its debut, along with the body bag match, And why not the concrete crypt match? They should also add a few more sets of weapons that have been used in the WWE in the past, In the regards to the Undertaker's career, The time he was knocked out by a cloth soaked in Chloroform like his match at wrestlemania 9 against Giant Gonzales.
If you want a undertaker showcase just say that

I had this idea, not sure if it's "good" or not, my ideas usually aren't haha. When the meter pops up with the big "no" bubble, you could have another very small bubble that says "Yes" or "I quit" that gets bigger and slower as the no bubble gets smaller and faster.

We need a special guest referee for different types of matches, just not regular matches
You can edit the match rules to make it no dq, falls count anywhere, submission, etc
I Quit, Lumberjack, Tag Team Turmoil and Inferno Match should be the 4 new matches added to 2k25 next year
Right now I just set submission matches to no DQ and add the mic for a weapon as my I quit match
Championship scramble was great
I hope they put in the Underground match. Shayna vs. Lola Vice was top notch.

I agree that if it does come back, the match mechanics will be similar to the ambulance and casket match. What they could do is, you can’t make your opponent quit until you have a microphone. Like you have to pull it from under the ring or where the ring bell is or whatever, then you can do the action.
Smackdown 2 was fun to me. I liked that game. It was funny how they no sold every move.
The commentary on Just Bring It was funny, and sad at the same time.
Here is what’s needed I think
1. Iron survivor challenge match (hopefully 4-6) ppl
2. Elimination option for HIAC and war games. It’d be so easy to add 2k and it’d make such a difference.
3. 3 stages of hell would be so cool especially if you could customize the options
4. More options for special guest ref. Nothing crazy but we should be able to do HIAC and probably 2v2 as well

There are a few matches that I want added to 2k25: I Quit, Tag Team Gauntlet, Tag Team Battle Royal, and Bull Rope. I would also like the option to have a trios title. I think it needs to become a real thing, but it would be cool if 2k gave us an option to create a trio title.
The thing that 2k does that bothers the hell out of me is that they give you 6 or 7 different versions of a character when they could give that character their own caws space with all their different outfits without using up a space for your caws you should be able to create whichever version of that character you want, they also need to bring back download your own intro music and there's needs to be away that you can import your 24 caws to 2k25 caws without redoing them all over again
I really hope this match returns so much fun with it and hopefully submissions trigger the cutscenes to like in the past

I miss the Inferno Matches and Buried Alive Matches in the Game.
Inferno Match is all we need
Those were the Undertaker and Kane matches. No one does that anymore. They tried it with the Fiend and it didn't work, nobody was into it so they took those matches out.

I survived Y2K. I survived 2012. I survived 2020. I never played WWE 2K20. And the list goes on.
At this point I am legendary.
I actually wouldn't want the mode made, I'd rather have promos or even the NXT game mode (which I forgot the name of). I just don't see this mode being fun tbh, it would seem similar to a submission match but just unfun for me
Inferno match is defo top of my list but an I quit match is close behind for me…
We just need more variety in my opinion & I would really love it if we had more freedom with match options for current match types…
E.g. an elimination hell in a cell match is something that I have wanted to experiment with but it’s not possible currently
They need to adjust the overall AI, because in the ambulance match.. the AI was terrible at least from my experience. What I mean is AI was too extremely difficult to beat, it's like they put the AI on steroids 😂😂😂.
I agree they should bring back more match types.
Maybe even add more game modes..
I quit should be in the game we haven't had it since last gen 2k17 it's rarely used On TV but has made for some iconic memory's over the years royal rumble 1999 and those moments with John cena going superman on everyone. Buried alive match also should return but like svr 2008 where it was a hybrid match like the 2k16 showcase match you bury them in the grave.

Suppose the mechanic for the I Quit match would be that the game pretty much forces the heavily damaged player to say "I Quit" on the controller mic or headset mic. The downside would be people would forcibly ragequit to escape humiliation, but seeing as having to say it was part of the match's overall point - the game could lock the player into having to say it out loud, nobody likes a cheater or a wussy, lol.

Great Vid! Yes we were spoiled! But ahhh great times. From thee, all of the greats I was Born: SNES Royal Rumble to N64 w/ WCW World Tour/ Revenge - WWF Wrestlemania 2000/ No Mercy then I got a Playstation Smackdown 2 was my first game & on an on it went to 2k24... ever since watching Corpo. Rock/ vs Mankind's I Quit Matches have been in my heart since day 1! I'd like a better Lastman Standing match too

I wish we could've got "I Quit" & Inferno match type back!!! Hopefully that's the plan for 2K25.
They could bring it back, I'd say. We may need Hunter or Shawn to book one or two. I'd play it. I remember playing it, on PS1, with my friends and my cousins.
Still just waiting on them to stop the nonsense, with the creation suite. They've gotten lazy, there, it's up to players, to find workarounds, for basic things.
3 stages of hell, I quit match and buried alive match. They can just add these matches into a new patch or something. They definitely can add more superstars in the game not just what they have for DLC. For example Naomi and Ethan Paige should be added into the game. If AEW can add SWREVE. Samoa Joe and Adam Copeland after the game been came out WWE2k can do it too. Everything don’t gotta get wait til the next game, especially if the next game is gonna be the same thing with a few changes. Like it can done
Bring back favoring an injured body part back. Like 9:27 that's realistic. The n64 games had it , day of reckoning 1&2 had it.

I don't know if its a "Mandela Effect," but I remember one of the games having the "I Quit" Match where you had to pick up the mic, walk over to your opponent, and attempt a pin. Then you would straddle them and shove the mic in their face in an attempt to get them to quit. Was that maybe one of the non-mainline games like one of the Day or Reckonings?
I would want 3 stages of hell match back. Ps in wwe2k24 my faction has anybody noticed that chapter 6 ( I think) in providing grounds the match with amethyst Rhea & amethyst Liv they both say persona on them & the card market update amethyst prices seem silly.
I can’t imagine we’ll ever see buried alive or inferno matches in 2k. It’s still pretty PG and those matches haven’t been around in a long, long time. Most current fans probably never even saw one. Still would be cool to see.

Id love to see the i quit match for sure. But id actually like to see a wcw war games match meaning have a roof and a fall brawl arena with the option to play in a double ring arena. Also the inferno match. Plus buried alive best way to bring in the buried alive is do a taker showcase and not just wrestlemania streak showcase. He had so many legendary matches and moments. Id love to see the in your house buried alive arena. Plus a superstars arena with the funeral parlor set-up to the side in said showcase mode. I made a custom images of the set but create a arena it just never looked right to me. Id love to see old superstars arenas with the sets to the sides to interact with. Like the funeral parlor, the snake pit, pipers pit, the barber shop, and make it fully interactive like a actual old show. Just my thoughts lol
Bring back Buried Alive match, and I Quit match in WWE 2k25.
A fully fledged out Royal Rumble is what I want. It's been the same boring match for years.
Still so many that can be fixed on wwe2k24 but no results like my tag team finisher or special move on table and table made out of solid wood 😮not breaking
On top of the ‘I Quit’ Match, I’d also like to see:
1) Inferno Match
2) Buried Alive Match
3) First Blood Match
4) Underground Match
5) Easier access to persona cards
6) Better DLC
7) Better persona cards
8) Details in the persona cards (if I get Rock ‘24, I want the music & new graphics)
9) Titantrons for superstars who had one (and superstars with a year on them, like Rey ‘06, etc;)
First blood match was in WWE 2K23. It’s one of those special options you select for the match.

I agree it’s gotta come back but there’s ways to differ mini games rather than just spam 2K needs to learn that. All matches feel the same regardless of the stipulation cause on all of them you just spam the button it shows.
I would much prefer improvements to game mechanics for example chain wrestling and outside of that show intros in Universe mode
If they bring it back I hope they don't go down the mini game route. Beat them down until they give up. Mini games just take you out of the moment.
