i literally watch your guides because the details and numbers really help me understand what is the best path and what exactly i want to do. i really was not going to play hsr because all of it seems very ott, like genshin all over again (which i am already so burnt out on) but with gameplay i dislike and an even more difficult equipment system.. it’s guides like this that really take all the pressure (or at least most of it) off of me and really helps me just enjoy the game, knowing i have a really concise and informative set of guides that usually also account for “uncommon” circumstances/scenarios and keep from placing that pressure back on the viewer.

I'm TL 41 atm, all 6 universes completed. 2 teams 8 characters built all 4 star relics. I NEED to farm for 5 star relics as that's all I need lol
forget about trace and cones materials, dont waste your stamina on 50% chance, its pianfull to get 1 blue every 2-3 runs only. Just wait because on TL50 you will get it with 100% chance and even purple mats. Better farm some EXP and SU planar relics

Thank you Xlice! Finally someone actually talked about TB40 not being the same as AR 40/ 45 in terms of Artifact / Relic grinding.... I was going insane listening to people talking about how bad relic farm is in HSR since they were comparing it to AR 45... HSR has waaayy higher TB lvl which affects the loot drop! it doesn't stop early like Genshin.
Also super agree with preferring HSR relic salvage. 1:10 ratio at specific slot is better than 1:3 ratio of any of the 5 slots.

HSR relic farming is still worse when comparing at TB60 because not only is there 6 slots to roll, there's also 2 whole sets of 2 and 4 pc, or 3 sets of 2 pieces, leaving no room for off pieces, on top of that there are more stats to roll. Relic RNG is literally a magnitude higher than artifacts in possible outcomes and crafting relics also has RNG, providing less than a drop of help in the bucket to the grind.
@@ksng767 crafting has a way lower rng compared to genshin, and the no off piece problem is solved by crafting and customising artifacts. Even in genshin you don't get point blank perfect artifacts.
@@ksng767 There is 4 and 2 slots to roll, making it overall still much easier to have no off pieces as well.
@@ksng767 it's better because you can choose between farming Body+Feet or Sphere+Rope. Having the flexibility to better target the exact piece you want shouldn't be underestimated.

Having Seele's Ult particle effects in the background while showing your findings and during your explanations. I have visual issues, so I have to look away during Seele's Ult in game. So to have her Ult going off as a constant in the background of your video made it really tough for me. Maybe a more static background when you info drop this much would be better? I know it would be easier for me. Thank you again for this great guide video.

But i'm a bit confused about the "preferred stats" part, at first i thought it was the main stats for the 4 random main stats, but then i realized it's not, and it seems to be the substats wanted instead, It would have been nice to say which would have been the main stats to try to go for for each character as this is kinda the main aspect here that matters the most as you pointed out

19:15 I just recently got Yanqing and I believe that 4 piece Ice set will be good for him as his ult buff affects him on his next turn, so if his ult doesn't kill or it's phase 2+ of a boss his next skill will do immense damage

One more thought...
The choice between Crit dmg or Crit rate 2-piece will also depend on your substat rolls and if you went Cr rate or DMG on your chest piece.
Ultimately, I'd go for the crit rate 2-piece. 50-70% seems like a good number to shoot for, with crit dmg being double your crit rate.
That opening transition through the hallway was almost as satisfying as banishing the demon from the Goethe hotel

For Himeko I prefer 2-piece Musketeer, 2 piece fire. 12% atk seems better than 12% damage on her skill only, plus 12% on only one attack after she ults, because her follow-ups are a big chunk of damage that gets ignored by the 4-piece set bonus.

I'd argue that Speed boots can also be a decent self-modeling resin spend for, say, a Hunt carry with a bunch of buffs that occur at high speed.

The main thing I know people have to get used to is the speed systems, unless people never played turn based rpgs or certain rpgs before. Speed is arguably the most important stat within any game as it will dictate first moves or cooldowns. Annother thing is that with the addition of speed, you'll have more scaling options, speedy characters you often want to get as much as you REASONABLY can get, people will go to quite extremes to get high speeds, do this to powerful support or defensive characters, or characters who scale off of speed. This to set up your damage or get an advantage with the first turns.
For speed scaling, for now Honkai's is jsut a cap of a certain speed (take In The Night), depending on the direction of skills and Light Cones, other forms of scaling can include difference between your speed and an enemy's speed (best example is Savannah from Summoner's War)
It seems crit values are less important than in genshin. With effect hit rate (for dots), break effect and speed ( for additional attacks), there are plenty of competition for increasing dmg. I like that. Also there are no crit stats on weapons as main stat. This is telling me that crit will have a less significant role in this game.
I like the debuff path with its unique builds. The debuff system is far more advanced than in genshin.
Just asking, does spheres and links work in boss fights or only in simulated universe?
I don't know where this rumor is from but yanqing cd boost from the 4 peice does apply to the ultimate as well I tested it myself
You can also do Herta space station 2 piece for Seele too
The ice set 4pc works on the ultimate so yanqing or any other ice dps really wants that 4pc. Other than that amazing video!
