    • @SimplyJade101
      @SimplyJade101  7 років тому +9

      She said she just put her hair in a low ponytail. That doesn't work for everyone though. If you have trouble with that, you can try 2-4 loose ponytails. That's usually what I do.

    I want to try it but I'm scared lol , I'm transitioning too so my roots are very thick and super curly it's like that in a lot of areas around my head then their is a lot of straight ends mix in , do you think it would come out similar to this because I really want to style my hair like this but I'm scared my outcome are going to be different 😩

    • @SimplyJade101
      @SimplyJade101  8 років тому +3

      well it does depend on the technique you use to install them. I'm positive it would work for you, but you have to be mindful of the way you put in the rods. Be sure to put alot of tension on the rod so that the hair is wrapped tightly around it

    Hi. I've watched a lot of your videos and have become a huge fan. I am in transition with my hair; I started last August. I am at a point where I am becoming fed up. I trained my hair to curl by using bantu knots. Those curls only last me two days max. I tried a perm rod set. I actually like these curls. They lasted all day and they didn't fall; suuper plus! However, the very next day, I looked crazy; my entire head of curls developed a mind of their own over night. I slept in a satin bonnet. I moisturize my hair. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I ready to end this journey and go back to straitening my hair. I really miss my 3b curls which is why I'm doing this. I'm at a crossroad. Please help.

    l attempted to do it with my transitioning hair (my hair is SUPER short, after taking it out.... in a hurry it came out wet and couldn't dry fast causing it to be a tiny not even curled enough hairstyle..) My hair has been short and the same length like this since l had relaxed hair, l have no clue what l should do to grow it out. l currently have braids and would love your advice on short transition. hair routine for growth after l take my braids out.

    • @SimplyJade101
      @SimplyJade101  7 років тому +1

      Hi Kelly. Yeah with these kind of styles it practically wastes all your efforts installing the rods if you don't allow it enough time to dry completely. have you tried a braid out with rods on the end? That's always a nice style to do on any length hair. Also, have you considered getting your cut/trimmed? A lot of times our hair growth and the finished product of a style is linked to a good cut. I recently just cut my hair (I'll be making a video soon) and it makes such a hugeee difference

    • @cocoe.1693

    I have naturally curly and wavy hair but I recently got a perm now I just never know how to wear it because half my hair is curly with straight ends mixed in... what do I do?

    • @SimplyJade101
      @SimplyJade101  8 років тому +2

      Hi Travianna. I know how tough it can be to deal with the two textures sometimes. But I think one of the best styles is either a flexi rod set (like the video above) or a braid and curl....which is basically just braids with rollers/perm rods on the ends of your hair. These two styles allows you to blend the two textures so that it's not as noticeable. Hope that helps, but if not, let me know.

    • @teeanna
      @teeanna 8 років тому

      How long do you think it will take for my hair to go back to my natural texture? Or by getting a perm have I messed up my texture permanently?

    • @simplysatisfying4892
      @simplysatisfying4892 8 років тому +5

      A perm is permanent so the only way to get rid of straights ends is to cut them.

      Not both. It’s only lotta body setting lotion in the spray bottle. I kept the mousse in its original bottle

  • @maru_nation
    @maru_nation 8 років тому +3

    i am LITERALLY doing this style right now, it is SO hard because my hair is down to my hips. I am not using mousse cause it makes my hair flakey, my ends are so dead and flat. the only thing i can't figure out is how to hold the curls at the end because after a while, the permed ends just become straight again!! HELP ME!! 😣

    • @SimplyJade101
      @SimplyJade101  8 років тому

      Sorry for the delay. The best way to secure your ends is to use alot of mousse/product (on your ends only) to get it wet enough to stick to the rod. If that still doesn't work then you should roll starting at the bottom of your hair and roll it up the rod. Instead of wrapping your hair all the way down.

    Thank you so much! Love this video and you're so sweet. 🕊
    I just feel like I really need to tell you something. You are absolutely loved beyond any human capacity. Jesus Christ (Yahusha) loves YOU and wants to know you. I care about your eternity and He wants you to repent. A lot of people have been deceived by the devil to think that sin is no longer serious and that all we need is to believe in God (Yahuah) but even the demons believe in Jesus but yet they're not saved... It is written that a friend of the world is an enemy of God . " Let God be true and every man a liar", most preachers are not preaching the truth that sin leads to eternal torment in a very real place called hell. There are too many people deceived into thinking that once you've said a prayer, you're saved even if you continue living the same sinful life. Yahuah hates sin and it's never stopped being serious. Sin leads to hell and I'd never want you to be deceived thinking that your good works of being a 'good person' will save you. We need Jesus, without Him, our good works are as filthy rags according to the Bible.
    Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart and is waiting on you to open to Him and believe that He is the only begotten Son of God. Our Heavenly Father is not willing that any should perish but all come to repentance. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Him. May God bless you and may you seek Him and truly repent and sin no more to become true children of God. Have a beautiful day/evening.☺️
