I like how every transformation has a sense of character to them. Optimus' transformations are heavy and have a ton of weight behind them, Arcee is light and acrobatic, Bumblebee is balanced yet fast, Wheeljack is very clunky and slow, and Mirage is smooth and energetic which accompanies his personality. Very nice attention to detail there.

Oh Hell Yea Dude same Here! In My Movie Theater everyone is cheering and for me tho I was cheering and happy when I heard that theme it give me chills and nostalgia!🔥💯
But it also kinda ruined the momentum of the final moments of the final battle because they had the build up and if they did more than reusing the half decent bay sounds then it would be perfect because at the end of the day the bay music is a off putting factor not only because it started with a good build up on the heels of Noah and primal saving Optimus but the moment you hear the bay music it's off putting not only because they could've done something better but also because they could've had a better climax all together instead of reusing old sounds because at the end of the day when I saw rise of the beasts it was a 9.5 out of ten in my opinion but the reuse of the score is what keeps the five points down
I really enjoyed this movie! First Transformers movie in 5 years! The Maximals' first time on the big screen!

Even though some of the designs aren't as visually complex anymore, watching them turn into cars is still satisfying as hell. Especially when the shot is well framed like at 4:35.

im so thankful for bumblebee bro, the designs have so much style and personality here
I feel like both this and the bayformers are imperfect for massively different reasons, This movie understands what is actually enjoyable about transformers, actually seeing each part move around and not just disappear into a mesh of random metal cubes and sharp bits. The bay movies understood scale and shot composition way better and it led to the cg just looking more relistic because of that.. Wish we could have the best of both ya know?
yeaah the cinematography isnt that good esp the transformations which are pretty lame. bumblebee didnt have that issue tho i think
@@rhinuu045 bumblebee is easily the most faithful and strongest representation, its a real shame they didn't keep THAT director. Just the fidelity of the cg looks nicer in bumblebee than rise of the beasts.
ILM (the studio that has done the CGI for the other 6 movies) has been working on Transformers One so they couldn't work in this one. MPC worked in this one, and i think they did a pretty good job, especially with how CG Artists are being treated the past few years

Why did they make Mirage look, sound and act like Jazz? This is the kind of thing that bothers me. Study the characters a little bit. That’s not mirage.

How so? I thought it did exactly what it set out to do which was be an enjoyable Transformers movie, and it delivered on the goods.
It was a mess of a story. It wasn’t the sequel I wanted after Bumblebee. It shoved all this crap in like maximals, terrorcons, Predicons and Unicron but not the Decepticons.
The plot was lame and generic, the cgi was rough and the soundtrack was awful. The designs were awful too. To also spit in my face they have to add gi Joe in now. What a waste of my time and their money to make this piece of shit when they could’ve made an actual sequel
