We randomised the track and it went well: 100K Battle Machine REDEMPTION (GT4)

- 15 didn’t make the cut last time but luckily were given a second chance in the form of redesigning their cars for the redemption round. Some went with more balance, some ditched all handling for power, and some kept everything the same. To make the round more unpredictable we decided to let a random wheel decide the track for this, which went to plan
For the grids with cars that had the same points, we also spun a wheel to decide who would start in front
With 9 spots to claim, we could be letting in some ungodly fast cars after this…
Thank you yet again to @beastincolt2154 for joining me commentating

PT AND VIBE BACK IN DA GAME LETS GO
also some of these new builds are gneuonely terrifiying especially that damn Buick Special 💀
the Buick is too powerful what have I let happen
how long I was waiting for this and I'm not even contesting the championship. definitely not of the kind who watches the same video more than once, but I went back at least four times to each other of the three first videos in the meantime. it was worth the wait, though, as costa di amalfi has definitely brought good moments to this already epic tournament. even though it's a tough track to overtake, much more with five cars rather than the usual two, each grid had become scattered halfway through the race and we ended up getting proper good duels. let's see how far these classified finishers will go. can say, however, that one of the cars I was rooting for couldn't make the cut
other things that are keeping me tuned to this series are the editing, the format and the commentary, features I couldn't find in the previous ones. keep up to the good work and thank you so far for the entertainment! I'm quite new to this channel
That’s so amazing to hear. Thank you so much. I’m really glad these have given some entertainment and this motivates me so much. Next rounds will be faster to make so hopefully less waiting lol
Costa de Amalfi was such a cruel turn of fate for the Sirion :(
lol, but to be fair, for the sirion the choice between beginner course and amalfi is like choosing how it wants to be executed
Guys, vibe points donation program has officially closed 😢
Man… the costa di amalfi curse struck me huh
Tho im glad the nsx put on a show for everyone, thing looked snazzy on the track
Loved the colour and those BBS, thing looked mean. Idk why the ai refused to drive it well :/
And true the poor ZZS met its fate on this track too, what have you been doing in Amalfi to get this curse
@@night2vyife rsc grinding with a r89c
@ lmaooo
Ax7!!!! 10:15
Man that looks so fun lol
@DanAlienSchmidt we could recreate some of these cars and race them on gt4o lmao
@@night2vyife lol and then go for another beginner course race to complete the trilogy XD
@ XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD so lets do 169 laps jkjkjkjjkkjk
Well, that’s a big surprise, No Premier this time, but since I admit I’m running out of time today, let’s just get to it.
-Also, we had Randomized Track this time… imagine if it spawned things like Tsukuba Wet or Grand Canyon ;)
-But Beginner Course, somehow it fits these Shitboxes on whether they could make it out of Purgatory or not xD Still, the fact that the wheel is OFF-CENTERED triggered me! D:
-Either way, congrats for Beginner Course to finally have its debut on a Nightdrive Tournament… or is it?
-Okay, so the Grids are still based on their Points earlier. Fair enough
Heat 1:
-There are barely any changes on the PT Cruiser, I don’t think it’d made it.
-Very understand why Tera went for Weight Reduction, but what was that 20 HP loss from? Trading Racing Chips with WR Stage 1?
-Pfft, haha, Honda, ZONDA, honestly back in the day I thought those two days are related xD
-NO! Rip the Stock Spoiler! D: But thank you for picking an actually sensible engine, with the RX-7 LM.
-512 on the NSX? Yeah… I think this thing is a lot scarier as people said. Hyper is ready to take his crown back O_O
-OH, FUCK OFF, YOU COWARD! Bring Back Beginner Course for Round 2, or else we’re rioting! >:( But hey, Costa di Amalfi brought back classic memories to the 250HP Semis :)… reverse, I hope it’s not the same one as back then tho... THANKFULLY
-Still, perhaps a tight track might work to the PT’s advantage. Also, it may have a Viper Engine now, but does PT Cruiser REALLY considered a Muscle Car?
-And… the Charger bet it all on one Divebomb before bonking the Walls… but I guess now it’s a contest to see how quick people overtake the wall that is DONALD TRUMP.
-WHOA! Wheelie Competition from Prostreet suddenly! :O
-…maybe the Charger needs better Suspension and Tires too :/ Though that was one hell of a shunt.
-At least we got a nice Italian Touge experience here though ^^
-Sorry Tera, that Wallriding Trick only works if you’re a player.
-I’m surprised the PT still last THIS long, but can the NSX reach past the Redemption? But at least the Charger did somewhat well without the Divebomb… and I think Hyper shockingly neglected the Handling in trade for a 200 HP Upgrade- on an NSX of all things!
-And okay, 3 Laps for Redemption. It was a bit longer than I expected I admit.
-OOH! That was a dangerous divebomb from the S2K! But it tried well on the Downhill. And damn, even on the main straight, the PT still hold on somehow with some defensing :o That’s got to be Defense of the Round Award here- because damn, that’s a bit dirty shove of an overtake from the S2K there :(
-Guess I miscalculated in thinking there’s a multiplier of 6 instead of 5 in this Redemption Round, but at least 3 people still made it in the end.
-That’s some Canyon Duel Action from the PT and RX-7 there! I tell you the Reverse Layout is better than the Main Layout on Costa di Amalfi!
-*CLAPS* That’s… one hell of an upset, unlike my Caldina back then, the PT Cruiser managing to hold on somehow, all while everyone’s favorite for the Redemption Round, Hyper’s NSX suffered badly and out… WOW. That was SO good, both from the racing and I think my Finals Prospect of my Crossfire is open again. PHEW!
Heat 2:
-So… is the Panda had more Power than before or not? These statement feels contradictory, like- does it have a Mine’s Evo Engine now.
-Holy Shit! Alpha stopped playing around, 480 HP Miata! :O
-*facepalm* Really, I thought the Avant is bad enough, and instead it went with more Power, and SPORT Tires which is a Death Sentence!
-I think the Lancer had some potential, but that depends on how many Handlings Upgrades Hyper chucked into it.
-So, the Stingray had the Racing Mediums, which is good for a car like this, let’s hope that it can go through things unlike the NSX this time.
-Oh yeah, this is where the Panda Dream died on 250HP, right in his home no less :(
-Who the hell put that A-Class Jumpscare?! D:
-WOW, of all things, it was the PANDA who didn’t get chucked at the first Corner… guess it was the Great Equalizer after all…
-I knew the Avant is a crap if the C3 managed to divebomb both it and Kirby that got held up by it. Didn’t expect it to secure safety this early though.
-Yeah, guess Costa di Amalfi also chuck out the cars with terrible handling too, so I’d say this is a perfect track for Redemption. Along with it being a good test for Overtaking.
-And wow, the Panda actually doing the Wallride Strats… CORRECTLY.
-Those Tires screeching on the Miata isn’t a good sign, my ears D: But I couldn’t expect a Muscle Car to do THAT well on handling.
-Also, I didn’t expect the Panda to also get away with it, more than the PT even. But at least both Miata and Stingray made it the Hairpins nicely this time.
-And the Stingray seems to rely on the Acceleration which keeps it well on Stop and Go Track like this.
-The Engine Sound is broken… WHAT Caused it?! :(
-And that was a sweet braking and the Stingray shockingly managed to brake later than a Miata.
-Man, I wished we had Collateral Damages in more games, isn’t it? xD
-Is that ‘Safety Car’ drive by you manually or Auto-Pilotted Stock Car?
-And rip Kirby, the other cars just shockingly quicker, ESPECIALLY that Panda, how much did that thing got changed?! :O But the answer is, that Avant just SUCKS! And I thought I couldn’t find anything worse than the Vibe, which we hadn’t seen yet!
Heat 3:
-Holy shit! The Vibe is actually stopped playing around now, 450 HP, let’s see if this is the first time an SUV making it well in a Tournament. And I see, RSC, perhaps right being at its ‘home’ will gave it a great charm. *250K Sell Price Intensifies*
-So, the Coupe is now the AWD version of my 500HP Car, interesting choice. The HP is still weaker however. So that’s a big concern.
-So… nothing changed, Commentator Beast? No Handling Upgrade? At least there’s no Dirt for Runoff this time *shrugs*
-Ah, right, so 778 HP for the Special, I thought he went for a Handling Upgrade, but oh well… let’s see if the Special can do things with it being the Runner-Up Power-wise after the Storia now.
-And right, so the FC is now gone for the Power-oriented Setup with more than my Crossfire by 40HP… sure.
-How much is the Coupe cost again? *pause* 48K (38 with Discount) is BAD, but it HAD a Used Car version for 27K according to the Wiki (only 2K more than my Crossfire), so that’s maybe a miscalculation on the Tuner’s part as well? *shrugs*
-I’m surprised that the Storia didn’t just plant into the Wall there, but I guess this thing will be on a Murderous spree *shrugs*
-You know it’s bad when a Boat like Buick Special overtook you on one of the tightest hairpins in Gran Turismo, isn’t it?
-And these two Powerhouses wheelies again :D. And… it gone wide, it can’t turn, it’s over for the Storia. I think that settles the Round now- oh wait, I forgot about the FC, not Trails in the Sky First Chapter :p
-Eesh, you know, Credit for the Vibe turning around expectations but I feel like starting first here is a MAJOR advantage too.
-And… that was it for the Storia, I bet it wished that Redemption Round happens in Test Course, isn’t it?
-The Special seems braking early, but it’s still very solidly stable which is good. Though I feel like Supercharger had bad powerband in exchange for massive power at a cheap price.
-Vibe VS Special is NOT the kind of duel I was expecting :o Which car’s Drivetrain used for the Vibe now?
-Also, about that “Idk”… it’s the Daihatsu Sirloin :p
-The Special Shuns! The Special Overtakes, THE SPECIAL CHOKED STRAIGHT INTO WALL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THIS WHOLE ROUND! :O And now the FC overtaken it- OH thank God it escapes before Storia came for murder. I was HORRIFIED For sure!
-PHEW, but at least we know the Special’s Weakness at the end, do not divebomb with that thing xD
-Yeah, this is quite a redemption for the Vibe that despite the advantage of Pole Position, it still managed to hold off on its own against opponents (unlike the PT that got eventually given up or the Panda who ‘defended’ by flying off)
-260 Km/h eh? AND GET OUT, Ugly A-Class! But farewell to the Commentator out there, next time pick a better handled car please. Not a 1000 HP Shitbox with Strawberry Wheels xD
-And yeah, the Turbo and the Avant are definitely the laughingstock of the Tournament with how Vibe managed to turn things around.
-And ending it with Mind Killer and Dark Red Text… fitting xDD
Dude, I (coupe tuner) looked at sellers for 99 weeks, the coupe never showed up, but if I had known that, it would probably have been my salvation, I could have put a stage 1 turbo and gotten the Power that It was missing from the car.
But now I've learned my lesson, next time I'll look directly at the Wiki, and not mess around with the game's RNG.
@@vittoriozanatta191 yeah, i think the first rule with these cars is to check either the Wiki or some kind of Used Car Dealership Spreadsheet first. So... I guess that was just a sad misfortune on your parts.
1 thing that maybe breaks the engine sound is having a race car engine without the racing exhaust
I remember my MR2 also had that problem (and I couldn't afford that upgrade)
@julicanoto15 ah okay, i see. Must be weird to hear your all conquering car with a shitbox exhaust notes xD
BEGINNER COURSE YAY
nvm lol, Amalfi time
dammit, rip hyper, i wanted to see how close he'd be to me... oh well, one less potential finalist means more chances to be a finalist myself!
i wanted to see kirby out of this, but it's nice to have a faster Alphamaxnova and a fighter Bowtie
Vibe is back! i wish Dominator was out tho, i hate him personally...
and that's it, rip everyone who died with the questionable track selection:
Hyper
Tera
Kirby
Veteran
Beast
FiatCoupe
We tested the NSX against some other redemption cars like the fc rx7 and other cars in its heat and honestly, the NSX just struggled like mad, it kept up sometimes but you could tell the others were faster
Idk why its such a gap in performance its really disappointing, we thought it was the car to take down the mr2 lol
@@night2vyife for some reason I'm feeling targeted right now XD
But yeah, I thought that NSX was going to be a beast
nightdrive jumpscare
*hello*
I knew it those 100 HP is not gonna help me i should focus on Handing before the round but no as a dumb driver i choose 100 extra HP in instead of Handing so next time in the 100k Tournament i will take the A2 and after this i will never trust and take the Audi Rs4 ever again
Aren't you the one who ate all the doughnuts?
Hwhat
tracks should be randomized more times lol
-definitely more of that coming up-
@night2vyife ooh
6am
Yes, the buick did it! But it could have been first if the AI knew how to drive🤦
Braked super early
Realised it was a dumb idea
Goes on the power again
Decides to send it at top speed 5 meters before the corner
We found out the cars could actually get completely stuck on this corner, Buick got pretty lucky with recovering
@night2vyife Yeah, lucky she didn't get stuck there for the whole race. I'd have smashed my phone if that had happened 😂
