No, she grew up in Highland Park a moderate income town in LA county. Parents, mostly unemployed actors with sporadic roles (like most actors...). Dad worked as a handyman and carpenter. Mom home schooled Finneas and Billie, taught songwriting, improv and aerial acrobatics. To ride horses, Billie worked as a stable hand. Shopped at thrift stores or Target. Not living in poverty but definately lower middle class.
