My buddy John just maidened his real Powered Paraglider (PPG) yesterday and we are both RC Nuts too! He will lose his mind over this thing in a good way! You can check out our buddy Alex's flight with his (PPG) on my channel from a couple weeks ago.
Hello! What was the wind speed at 20-50 meters altitude on this day? And how much ballast was used in addition to the basic equipment? Greetings from Germany!
I know this is a powered paraglider and all. But there's one question that Joe forgot to ask the owner of this aircraft: how well can it glide or catch a thermal. I know real powered paraglider pilots and they sometimes turn their motor off and catch thermals. Which is why I asked if this one could do the same.
Good luck getting people to pay 500 bucks for that! It's really cool and different but not 500 dollars cool. You could get a 700 size heli for that much! It's a nice selling point the wing being made by a full size manufacturer, but you don't need anywhere near the same amount of safety testing so what's the point? I can get a pretty good suit for peanuts, and that probably has the same amount of parts! It just needs a decent designer and a decent sewer and you can make a great saving. Ripstop nylon isn't that expensive!
500 bucks OUCH . and you have to supply your own reciever and servos? . I don`t put many negative comments on Mr hanson`s channel but FAil on the price. Great little flyer but I`ll watch that one to come down in price before I work a week to pay for it. lol.Cheers
Wow, that is really cool. Nice touch that he used Woody as the pilot!
Stefan Dembowski Woody was a nice touch!
