However, "down" is a Wing-T play where the playside OT & TE block down and the playside guard kicks out the DE and the ball carrier hits the running lane. it's pretty much "power" except the backside guard is not pulling, it's the playside guard that's pulling. -Hope that helps coach.
What is Down run game??
When I hear "down" I think of a "gap" scheme or a "pin & pull" scheme.
*Things like: Power, Counter, Trap, Down etc
