Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. The poor turning radius was Brian's dad's biggest complaint about their new used demo 9T.
I would rather run my old 1660 backup of the backup combine than have a fendt ideal. Could use the 6bu/second unloader on our 7120 and 2188 though
That's so funny you said that it is hard to buy equipment with $3.60 corn and $9.00 beans but back when I was farming if we got those prices we could have actually bought some new equipment and made a profit back then of course ours was $2.00 corn and $6.00 beans so that's just how sad life goes I guess and if there are still farmer's going from those days until now they are in the same way they have always been. Sad to think about but I suppose there were some good years in the middle we had the same back then. Good luck with your harvest this year
