    I play no violin, but this makes me have a little glimpse of how much thinking is in the professional playing at the highest standard. Thanks a lot.

    Sometimes I play this video just because I like hearing him talking though I don't understand a single word. :) I want to know what accent is it.
    I've never learned violin before and I'm almost 17. I wonder if I could start learning now, then how long would it take me to play this?

    • @Chalven
      @Chalven 10 років тому +7

      He speaks german. He was born in Stuttgart (Baden Württemberg). Among other things, you will also find the swabian dialect. :) But in this video you hear standard german.
      And this video has subtitles in many languages. :)

      Quyen-kun Hello. I never played violin before, but I read a few articles online, even though 17 is a bit late, but it's never too late in my opinion. From my college experience, it's all about hard work, desire, and how much time you put into practice. So if you start now, and been consistent in your practice, and lessons, and performing recitals, and ensembles, you will be good in a few years. So seriously, its never too late!! I'm 21 years old, and I have a strong desire to learn to play the violin as well! So totally go for it! The sooner the better!

      It would take about 5 years, that how long I've been playing, and I can play this pretty well.

      @@rockermetalhead1200 17 is still quite young to learn an instrument. Good luck. Do commit and practice.

    Vielen Dank. Grundsätzlich möchten wir an der Idee der Video-Meisterklasse festhalten; derzeit gibt es aber noch keine konkreten Pläne.

    I have to play this excerpt tomorrow in orchestra class. Terrified cause I didn't practice over the summer... This is helping me so much thank you. Phrase by phrase is just what I needed.

    well, Kehwa, Some people just enjoy the sheer joy of little pieces of music, regardless of the demand of violinists, or how long or little they take to explain something. It's all about the pleasure of listening and being able to differentiate between little details that to some untrained ears are inaudible. Also regardless of the possibility of being able to replicate them.

    Ich versteh zwar noch nicht viel, weil ich grade erst angefangen habe, aber es hilft mir enorm, weil man die Haltung unheimlich gut erkennen kann.

    "dyonisische Lebensfreude" ist die Freude, mit der nur Reiche etwas anfangen können. Er hätte genauso gut auch "Dekadenz" sagen können. Ein Anspruch der Kunst ist immer Ideologie.

  • @kehwa

    @linaconductor He's moving quite slowly. Talking about fairly detailed things. Anyway, if anyone needs this kind of help, I doubt they'd make it. The competition for professional violinists, even the YTS, is quite high. The people that make it into professional orchestras already know how to play this.

    • @nickyork8901
      @nickyork8901 3 роки тому

      Well they would know how to play it, but not necessarily this well. I think many professionals would find this video very helpful...you don't get to play in the Berlin Phil for 40 years without learning a thing or too.
