If you compare the life of a born muslim and a muslim convert is very different. The life of a convert is filled with people rejecting them, treats them with hostility, ridicules and misunderstanding. We muslims needs to be with them and guide them. Music is not meant to be tucked under the carpet and ignored. Its something that gets into your soul and moves you. It fills you with spirit. Its rythms and its melody change the neurology of your mind, sways you to the sound, captivates your imagination and your heart. That is a beautiful thing. That is a heavenly experience. No sane God would prohibit music for its powerful narcotizing effect over people. Why ban something like that? Music is a beautiful thing. It is divine. It was not meant to be destroyed.
its not that. the problem is people sometimes forget to respect, pray or lost faith in Allah. As long as you respect everyone, pray on time, and keep strong in faith, you can listen to the music. Quran said that music can alter the mind and cause them forget.
