The log homes are beautiful with the TALL ceilings but so much dead air to heat that could be floor space... I like tall ceilings and built my framed home with 9 foot ceilings.... that extra foot truly adds to the heating costs.... Happy I have a natural gas Heat Pump/Air Conditioner unit in one.... 73 degrees year around.
Love their fireplace.... hope it is one of these dual burn types with all sorts of internal heat ex-changers, outside cold air feed and return lines throughout the house....
I think this guy got to this job 1 week or 2 weeks to soon. the contractors sure wasn't ready. I used to build houses we never go to a job if concrete isn't done, and we would call owner first
I agree with steve mazz , more wood but the siding and the time to install it probably cost more than log wall , but you always get the mix with conventinal framing with log , Nate and his guys are excellent craftsman and do an excellent job , their decorator does too of coarse
Goodjob...nice
Just enjoyed every minute...thanks for sharing💯💯💯⛰🥾🐺🌲

You build such a fine home and all he paid you was a box of cakes...
That surprise window was planned lol. Can see there is a gap in there groove when they push the wall out.
I love the show love to have one
Thank you more on the way and nate is my dad so
Where was Arthur... and his mouse.... and his lemon... and John Finnemore?
How much is that home? Or kind of it
Surprised they didn't use more T&G siding inside just to get a little more WOOD look.
OH, still a beautiful home..... well done....
The phony window "surprise" was so unnecessary. The house was beautiful though.
Love the views...But those window drapes were not done or put up properly.. love the show ….
it very nice log cabin. but to me inside home there to much sheet rock. it dont look like log cabin inside home. I don't know why homeowners did this.
Looks great but I'm not a fan of river rock
I think their decorator does a much nicer job than the Amish decorator.... the Amish homes look cluttered., and junkie somethings.
All the sheet rock ruined it
Way too Hollywood-y with the forced hand gestures and feigned excitement. But the main actor is good looking.
