A Tough Winter Hike High In The Scottish Mountains

- Sometimes the weather makes what would be a fairly easy hike much harder than expected. Join me on this adventure as I head off into the Scottish highlands to climb a mountain in deep snow and harsh winter conditions.

Good on you tackling the winter mountain weather. Facing into spindrift or hailstones in a strong wind can be blinding, (not good to video cams either!) no surprises you were happy to reach the top!!
Lovely shots down in the Glen though.
Oh, I think the animal snow prints, the small and big together? almost certainly a mountain hare, wee feet at front, big at the back, built for speed! Always a joy to see at any time of year, but especially when perfectly camouflaged with their white fur against the snow😊

english viewer here but family is from inverness i,m old and fat but love hiking round the derbyshire dales in the peak district but nothing like what you hike up lol . watched all your vlogs over the last 3 days keep them great views coming 👌👌👌👍👍👍

A great area to explore. I think the gold mine recently went bankrupt. I remember Ben Lui well. I walked up the ridge while a climber went up the central gully with an ice axe in each hand. Take care out there. Winter is coming.

Well done buddy , that was a bit challenging with the weather turning and low visibility good job 👌 I did this hike on Tuesday I took my bike which was a good choice coming back off the hill...
