Nice to meet you, I'm enjoying watching you in Japan 🎵
There are many rock bands active in Japan, but I wasn't particularly interested in them.
ONE OK ROCK's 'Be the right' in 2014 had a big impact on me.
This song about the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake made me feel a sense of 'dawn' in the hearts of Japanese people at the time.
When I think of the conflicts around the world, I feel that 'Fight The Night' inspires us and 'Be The Right' heals us after the battle.
I would like you to listen to these two songs. Of course, I recommend the live version🌱

They are in their early 30's now, but we are very close as we have been a band that has shared hard times and good times together since we were teenagers.
Their songs are rock, but they have a lot of very catchy songs, so I feel that they are the perfect entry point for rock beginners.
Those who have seen ONE OK ROCK's live video for the first time will first be mesmerized by TAKA's mellow voice, his singing ability, and the charisma that makes his live performances so exciting.
But among them, I like the drums. As you know, his drumming is very heavy for the songs, and his use of double pedals shows that he is probably influenced by metal.
Phil is very versatile and technical, and depending on the song, he sometimes throws in some unexpected rhythms that are very fun to listen to.

Yes you’re right. For heavier (but still beautiful) songs I suggest I Was King (orchestra live) and Cry Out (Japan Dome live). 🎶🎶
