I wish I had the confidence to terraform my entire island to give it a new look and mold it around the different environments I want like how she created that nice long waterfall by the bamboo forest. Instead I prefer to work with the way my island is generally established and avoid making major changes.

I want to keep my island having that "deserted island" feel but still semi developed. Like building and designing with the land and making small changes to like smooth out the rivers and cliffs. I see these islands and want to do something like that but at the same time I'd rather have some wilds area or open landscape for fishing and bugs, and just classic animal crossing feel
I don’t have terraforming yet. I just got the upgraded Residential Services a couple of days ago. It’s because my older brother got the game first and on my birthday (April 1st) He got me the game with his credit card. RIP, I basically had to start with the annoying eggs!
Yeah most of my terraforming was to open up areas and adjusting cliffs and rivers for bridges and inclines. I have a big hybrid garden in a large tier 3 area which in hindsight I should have placed my residential area instead of cramming them on the lower level near the beach but imma keep what I got and make it work. Maybe once I get all of the hybrid colors I want I can ditch the garden and relocate my residents so I can give them more space to add yard decor or whatever
Same I'm not unhappy with the natural look but feel kind of envious of the people who are so good at transforming their islands completely its crazy good 😅

Dońt worry it takes time. And If I saw it right the city is German cause of „Mode Schneider“ we got the game on the 20th of March and a lot of us spend over 150 hours in the last past weeks. Not everything has to be done with time travelling. You just have to follow the instructions that you get from the service center. For example people like me like it to do everything with a plan and a lot of people just play without paying attention to what to do or just play because they way they like it. Just another example. A friend of mine played over 150 hours, I played 90hours+ if got my house ready and payed all my loans, she has still to pay the third upgrade. I hope this does not confuse you. Play they game how like it to play. Animal crossing is a Game for fun and play on your own accord, not a game for competation💜

Every point of the video I kept thinking, "Oh this is amazing! It can't get any better than this!" but then IT DID! Wow I can't get over this beautiful island! Each area is more beautiful than the next. I absolutely love all of the color coordinated flowers, decor, and custom pathing and art.
This has to be the best island I have seen. Every corner you turned just made me smile because it was so pretty and perfect. The custom detailing makes such a huge difference on some areas.
This is insane. The work that went into this😩👏🏻 how does she get everything customised? I can barely customise anything, like my lighthouse and stuff😩 did she just luck out that everything she got was white and pink? I’m baffled. But amazed, definitely amazed

@@j3soo5 I decorated my island with furniture before I got my island evaluations and it put me at 1 star even though my island was nice. Isabelle will tell you what you need. Mine told me I needed more islanders, so I had to move in 2 more villagers (total of 7 villagers) to get 3 stars.
Jesus Have plenty of villagers (usually 8), limited number of weeds as well as objects dropped, flowers and trees and plenty of furniture spread around the island. As long as those requirements are met, you should pretty easily get to 3 stars.
Jesus have lots of villagers (8 is the limit I think), place a lot of furniture everywhere, have a decent amount of trees and flowers, so some fencing and clean the weeds!

Brendons Forehead I HARDLY get scorpions :(. It’s like impossible for me to make scorpion island. I’ve streamed like what I was doing and the islands I got. I have got like literally 2 scorpions to spawn and that’s all :( . Seems like tarantulas are easier to spawn.

I made a zen area near Genjis house on my island and while I don’t have terraforming yet, I am proud of it! I realize that I need to rearrange my island a lot and I am kind of dreading it... How much money and time it will take is kinda freaking me out. Always nice to see people who put their all into their islands!

jen with luv best thing to do is start small and each day keep adding details. My island looks nowhere near this DONT get me wrong lol. But it’s definitely the most formed of all my friends. I just keep tweaking each day, adding on and slowing changing. These people also time travel like a million times a day. No hate there I do it too when someone’s moving in the next day or whatever but they really really spend time doing it
Step 1: Be some sort of award winning architect 😂😂😂😭jkjk Just start thinking of each area you want and where you want it (ie: bath house near the beach or restaurant surrounded by trees) and then just start making each place one by one.
Find one of these islands you like, screenshot the map like in the beginning of this video and start designing your island. If you like certain areas, copy them or modify them to your liking. This game is overwhelming when you see islands done up like this
I was in the same position and I ended up messing around with making an entrance to my town, and my terraforming accidentally coincided with a villager house. Now its a cute hillside neighborhood with a nice waterfall and communal area! Integrating aspects into something that may not be desirable at first can really get you beautiful and natural looking results. Id say just mess around with one area for a while to see what you like and then plan out a general composition of the island with a list of places you'd like to include! Maybe a cafe area, or a park, or a market... Remember that irl cities are not planned all at once so designing different areas separately and connecting them later can look more realistic! Those are some tips that help me a lot. Good luck w ur island :D
Here's a tip: clear up an area and think about what you want it to be. If you get an idea, start thinking about it's theme. For example, I decided to make an area for stargazing and farming shooting stars, and I made the theme bamboo, so I used the Bamboo DIYs I've aquired for it. I havent gotten them all yet, so it's still a work in progress.

For customizing the lanterns, as long as you took nook’s customization work shop you should be able to put on your own pattern. Just take it to a diy bench and choose the pen option to use your own pattern

Totally agree!! There are NO WAY someone could create island like this unless they cheated or time traveled and video like this just glorifies something that is impossible to do for those of us who LOVE Animal Crossing series and play it as intended!

@@AL-ho4cu no i dont work at Nintendo. I am also a big fan of Animal Crossing games having played the previous version before. If Nintendo wants to allow timewarping (whatever you called it) they would not have put restrictions such as you can only build OR demolish an incline or a bridge a day. Same goes to moving building. Nintendo does not want to penalize those people who cheat (when you have to constantly change the time outside your game by going into system time and date - that is not what the game intended for you to do). It is not important for Nintendo to do anything to these people who uses such exploit - it does not affect other players but this gamer totally lose out on Animal Crossing true game play. Yes to each its own but in this case all the assets and layout that she got is solely through the system exploits. And in my opinion that totally diminishes the joy of playing Animal Crossing entirely. It is more of WANT WANT WANT WANT mentality vs hey look i finally collect enough resources and with patience create something that i truly care about.

I don’t have enough time and I would get bored if I was so slow with the game (especially in new horizons the very beginning is reaaally boring! U can’t even talk to villagers!). I see where you are coming from but I don’t agree. Think of turnips. They don’t even spoil anymore when you timetravel. Of course they put restrictions but in new horizon they LOWERED them. They could have banned tt long ago but they didn’t. And honestly, if you are so bothered by her time traveller town why do you watch the video for inspo? I know so many anti tt people who then continue to take presents or advanced tools from time travellers because they “play the game as intended without tt”.

While other people gushing about how awesome it is (and in the process making them feel a bit inferior and "hating" their island OR perhaps it might give them the motivation to create something nice IN THE LONG RUN) I am honestly not impressed by the results that are achieved via exploitation. That is me. And I love AC which is meant to play in real time. I enjoy certain aspect of mini game such as selling turnip to make (or lose) bells. Instant gratification ruins that aspect of the game. And your statement about how Nintendo would have banned people for TT , you were incorrect. Just because they did not ban, it does not mean that they encouraged it. The game exist as it owns, it is not worth monitoring because it does not affects everyone game play say if someone is exploiting. It is just not worth for Nintendo to do any banning vs the repercussion that they might get. You don't have to be perpetually online to play. And your reasoning about how anti TT players getting/exchanging/benefiting from people who TT is flawed. One aspect of this game is about sharing. I don't need to know how the other players get their stuff because I did it through the regular process of acquiring or exchanging items in the manner that the game intended. I think the island owner did a great job at doing a pink theme without overdoing it so that the pink doesn't get boring on the island. Nice. And just a beautiful use of layering and waterfalls

I am playing my game in june right now, to get away from the easter event last week. I've been finding shell themed recipes, since you mentioned you weren't sure how to get them! You find blue shells on the beach to craft with, it's like the pink petal event.
My little brothers left the upstairs bathroom sink faucet in the on position with the plug engage during a week long power outage once. Walked back inside the house and it was like a terraformed waterfall island.
Definitely not my style but holy cow that island is amazing. Beautily done and anyone can see the care she put into every little thing.
I'm impressed with her use of negative space on the custom paths.... so many popular paths try to color match which doesn't work out well
Customizing the designs onto lanterns is available as soon as you have furniture customization. You just can’t customize the wood color. I have never heard of anything being unlocked from talking to Sable.
