One of the most beautiful love songs ever written IMO, and Freddie sings the h€ll out of it.

One of John's best - Another One Bites the Dust. Live version always the best - Wembley 1986 x

Freddie's legendary vocal ability just can't be matched. He was a one off for sure. Speaking from experience, being alone does not equate to being lonely. I've lived very happily alone for many years, in fact, it's my personal preference.

Don’t forget this was written for the Highlander movie. The protagonist literally was going to live forever lol

This wasn’t done live. Freddie was too sick and wasn’t able to do tours anymore

Great reaction, thanks for doing all of these Queen requests. This song was never performed live, Brian and Roger did not like the song. This is a damn difficult song to sing. There is one big thing Freddie does that most other singer really don't do. He sings as if he is doing a dramatic reading of a poem. He used an incredible wide range of dynamics in his singing. Freddie didn't just sing verses, he coloured everything he sang. He knew when to add more grit to a word, when to sing a section higher. When to sing a word and hold a longer note. He knew exactly how to add grit at the right times, or when to sing without it. He knew which words was important to accentuate. He could add power, anger, amusement, vulnerability or delicacy or any emotion required, through his expression. Freddie could really change the texture, colour and frequencies in his voice to suit a song better. He used exactly the right expression that was required to display something slightly more dynamic. In this song if you listen carefully, he obviously have to repeat similar phrases, but he never sings them exactly the same as he previously did. He sing some notes higher or lower, he hold some notes longer then others, he changes his phrasing slightly every time.
Freddie also had great dictation. Apart from Freddie's range, this is exactly what Montserrat Caballe also pointed out about his voice, she said he was selling the voice.
This is one of those songs where John replaced Brian's guitar with a saxophone solo. It is the only sax solo on a Queen album, they got a studio musician for the sax part. Brian was never really impressed when people removed his guitar solos from songs.

Zenobia - thank you for these comments on Freddie's ability to add colour and drama and expression to everything he sang. This is why we are all mesmerised by his vocal ability. Gone, but never forgotten. Never boring!

Would you please react to 'Too Much Love Will Kill You'.
    It's a absolutely heartbreaking song.
Brian wrote it in 1988 when he was going through a difficult emotional time in his life.
There are two versions, one sang by Freddie / Queen (1989) , check the lyrics video
and one by Brian (1992); (the official video: ua-cam.com/video/rNa5kRX45tg/v-deo.html ,
two different characters singing the same song!
I recommend that you try to do a 2 in 1 combo reaction.
Look forward to your reaction .

This one and "Who Wants to Live Forever" were both written for the "Highlander" movie. They're from the album "A Kind of Magic," which is part of a line from the movie.
