I love all the information that you share with us. I bought an epoch a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. I was hoping to swap over to a slug liner but wanted to stay with Skout OEM. I might just have to save up for an evo maybe at 30cal and just keep my 25 cal Epoch as my bench/range pellet rifle. Love the videos and think Skout is one of the best out there.
@@AirSniper-SongV I have already tested pellet in their slug barrel Song. HPP has and Epoch with the Slug barrel and I set it for 34 grain MK II 34 grain.. Have Tom's Evo running 34 grain MK II. He took 2nd place at our last 100 yd BR match with it. Will now time it back to slugs. Going to try some from AVS and Griffin
First thank you so much for actually showcasing this guns performance and accuracy. Skout has 1000% dropped the marketing ball on this gun. I know they are working on some new barrels but that’s no excuse. They have lost a lot of opportunities in my opinion by doing so. But anyway….. I hope I’m not dumping too much on you in one post. 1). What grain slug? 2). What exact barrel are you using? -length - what kind….sub moa , lothar walther or just a Skout liner ?? 3). What twist rate. Impressive shooting and thank you much.
@@Light_357 Thanks for the kind words. I known Skout is working on improving their products. Per your questions, I’m using Skout’s boat-tail Slugs 48.8 grs. Also H&N 40 grs slugs .249 works great, but the B.C. not as good as Skout’s slugs. Skout’s slugs had more advantages on long range out past 300 yards. The barrel is 34.6 inches lothar walther, and the twist rate might be 1/18 not 💯 sure. FYI, I have sub-moa barrel coming next week and I will do comparisons with lothar walther and will post results on UA-cam.
I love all the information you share 😎 I just got an evo. I’m learning!!? lol I am having major issues getting parts like barrel liners. I want a 800mm liner so I can use a fx slug liner. I still can’t even get a spare set of regulators lol
Hi! We have full sets of regulators in stock and ready to ship! Sorry about the 800mm liner conversion. They are custom and made to order! We will hopefully be making some soon!
@@skoutairguns thanks for your reply! I guess I need to know who to communicate with? I’ve ordered regs and got no order confirmation yet. It was last week. This rifle is amazing! Right out of the box I zeroed and took a pigeon at 180 yards first shot. But you know that.

If your reg is leaking or creeping, Skout have new updated versions of reg shaft that will fix that issue.
