A walk from Puerto de Santiago to Playa de la Arena on Tenerife's west coast

A walk downhill from El Marques resort in Puerto de Santiago to Playa de la Arena. Spending time at the beach at the end of the walk and then a cool beer and light snack. Passing favourite haunts such as the Pit Stop bar on the way and admiring the views across the Atlantic Ocean to La Gomera and down to playa Santiago beach, the walk gives a little flavour of this lovely part of Tenerife's less commercialised south west coast.

We have walked from the Los Gigantes hotel to Alcala or back a few times on the coast path, great walk. We even did back from San Juan one a few years ago, long walk though!

Those are both long walks Robert, good effort, at least its fairly flat after Playa Arena, I've only taken the car so still have to do the coastal path walk
