Hi, thank you for sharing so much information, in such a precise way. I just want know that; If someone has passed more than five years since graduation, are they completely ineligible, or would they simply not be preferred? This is assuming there has been no clinical gap since graduation.
Thank you Dr. Assem for your fantastic videos!! I have a question, will internal medicine residency qualifiy me to take a fellowship in the USA? And what's the rest of the road after residency in UAE? I mean will I be able to apply for fellowship in UAE after residency?
Hi, thank you for the question! There is fellowship opportunities in the UAE that could be pursued after graduation. Technically, you can apply for US fellowship as someone who took an internal medicine board from outside, however the process gets more competitive and harder if you are aiming for competitive fellowships like cardiology, GI, and heme-onc.
Brother can u please tell about the ECE - like where its needed drtp, doh, ehs or where ? Because while filling the ehs form its asking for which institution
As for my country we have 2 years internship finishing at September Can you suggest when could I start doing the application, get into the process and take the emree exam
I am currently preparing for step 2 CK,and have passed usmle step1... Is emree similar to step 2 CK,and can i clear it with the knowledge i get from step 2 CK?? Ur reply will be highly appreciated😊
Hi Mohammad, Congrats on passing USMLE Step1 and on the progress you're making. USMLE Step2 and EMREE can be different. Nevertheless, knowledge will help you in any exam. EMREE does not have any official resource so that is your best bet.
You ask doctors who know you or worked with you about it. This is basically everywhere including the University of Jordan. And approach early not on deadlines.
Sir I have cleared USMLE step 2 with 1 year internship in my country and i am government medical officer for 1 year can get in UAE or any chances?? Please reply
USMLE Step 2 isn’t a requirement and your home experience can be a plus. You need to go through EMREE and compete. I can’t speak on chances as this is multifactorial.
