It shows amazing color sense to do that page in those colors. I never in a million years would have thought to try that, but the combo of neons and blue is brilliant. Love it!
I love how your page turned out!! I'm planning on coloring a page in Crayola neons, which made this video all the more inspiring! Thanks for the inspiration :)
Absolutely love this. I have several neon colored pencil sets because they are my favorite to color with in my geometric coloring book. I love the bright colors. I also choose blue violet to blend with from prismacolor. It just goes so great with them.
3 minutes in and I already learned something new! I had no idea you were supposed to turn the sharpener instead of the pencil! HOLY COW! Also, your artwork is jaw-droppingly phenomenal!!!! The way the colors look together is so gorgeous!
Amazing! I would have never ever thought to put neon into the piece, but it really turned out great. I wish I had more neon colors. I only have neon in my prisma set.
I love the neons with the blues! I'm not quite sure about the purple background but in the end I think it turned out well, just not quite as fabulous as thw neons.
I love this! I’ve never used my neons either, but I’ll give them a try now. And I’m the same as you with the pencil sharpener - I just can’t turn the sharpener without total concentration! 😂
I usually avoid neon colours but I agree that this is beautiful! A brand called Colleen has several neons. The only disadvantage is that they are the softest pencils of all and constantly break.
Thanks for sharing this. It is really pretty! Also, if you don't want to sharpen your pencils that way, you should definitely try the Dahle 133 pencil sharpener. I promise that you will NOT regret it! You will only wish you had discovered it sooner.
I have seen you use q tips for some of your blending, the only problem is that they don’t get into small spaces, I use paper stumps and they work very well an
Love how you are guiding us through YOUR process. I use different techniques but I learn and love to see how others do this. The value of you background is off.. i think I would do for a darker shade in the background.. to pop the white fish to the front... if you want to attract viewers use your instagram page/stories more to promote! I think that would help to draw in people, just a suggestion.
I'm glad I am not the only one who gets wonky trying to use the pencil sharpener the right way. I feel like I have twelve thumbs all going the wrong way
Gutsy lady. You inspired me to buy this book - extremely outside my Leila Duly "A Flower Year" comfort area. I've almost completed the first double page - big trees, easy peesy(sp?). Doing a realistic fox, wolf, etc. challenges me. I'm frozen with fear I'll screw them up. Being hyper critical of oneself can interfere with coloring sometimes.🎨♿👵 Barb N.
That whole “turn the sharpener, not the pencil.” thing is frustrating because not everyone (like me) has an easy time doing it. It’s difficult for some people to walk backwards and that’s ok too.

What is the name of the coloring book
World within worlds by Kerby Rosanes
I never use neon in any medium but I will be rethinking that!
New subscriber, really enjoyed this video. Thank you

Sweet Heart they are not Koi. They are Betas. Look them up to see all the colors they come in. You will be surprised. Love Terri Simmers.
LOL Oh my god, you're right!!!!! Hahaha, I feel silly now :)
@@PencilStash Just love you Rachel. Look them up on Pintrest you will be amazed at the colors they come in. Love Terri Simmers.

Same here....glad it's not just me!
Same!
It's not needed. I always turn the pencil and it's fine, just keep your pencil straight in the sharpner an make sure the blade isn't dull.
