All that wonderful sound from those small speakers, Amazing! Beautiful fit, and finish.
I have been listening to a pair of Diapason Adamante V's for about month
now. The US dealer at the time had no Karis III's but had a pair of Adamante
V's so I went out on a limb and figured they might share similar sound
characteristics. Anyway, I have been really pleased with them, they sound
great, very musical to my ears!
If it had not been for your channel I would not currently own them, and
would not have been exposed to Diapason at all!
Thanks for your youtube channel! I will continue to listen, I have also been
exposed to some musicians/music that I would not of heard if it weren't for
the channel! So please keep it up!

They sound really good even through UA-cam. At 4K a pair they should sound *great* in person...but you would still need to add a sub.

Good song pairing, Maybe it’s UA-cam compression, but the mids sound a bit limited, narrow...

Could you please give me advice regarding "bookshelf" speakers?
I am looking for something for jazz like D. Karl, Nicki Parrot, Ch. Chamberlain for quite listening.
I listen music approx whole day and half night also with low loud level. As reference speaker I take into consideration Dynaudio X18. Could you please advice if is it good choice for that music and way of use or shall I switch to another? I must keep price level of this Dynaudio or max +50%.

I had listen (long time ago... about 20 years) the Diapason micra" and it was already a very stuning sound...

I have the same speakers. My listening room with 4x3 meters the Karis III able to produce nice sound driving it with Preamp Audio Research SP 10 and the power amp Audio Research D115. And not everyone has Big room

These speakers give the impression of very spacious sounding but with such a tiny membrane the realism of playing is probably very weak. Very nice woodwork :)

An answer according to www whathifi com website is £1295 (around $1567) in the year 2003 for a pair of these speakers. My observation: Older speakers (in almost all cases) usually don't keep pace with inflation in price because the materials (maybe not the case or wooden box) eventually deteriorate over time, and almost all used speakers sell for below the original price. As of today (5/17/2020), 1 pound sterling converts to $1.21 US dollars (USD).

I recently heard an absolutely fabulous pair of largish bookshelf speakers by Polk Audio, the LSiM703 with a 60W pc channel, Ted amp. Unbelievable! Rich sound, heavy bass and silky mids and highs. It's a 200W handler! I thought it must be $1500. Just found it on Amazon for $400 !! That has got to be the best value for money I've ever heard of!! Magnificent sound!!
