Always a delight watching your videos.U have pointed me back in the reading direction, as I have abandoned books for quite a while now. Many thanks.
Excellent overview. Thank you!
If i may ask, which book would you recommend first?
Needed this, thank you!! 🙌
Thanks for the “heads up”. 👌 another interesting video. Cheers, Colin.
Love learning and Audible is awesome because you can listen when doing laundry or in the car, constantly feeding your and soul! My issue is I have Way too many books! Yes, I have these books and they are life changing! Tony Robbins also has some very good material.
I hope there will be a video about the final solution closing etsy accounts
7:44 Your graphic references the bible verse you mentioned earlier not the quote from the Napolean Hill book.
Hi Alek, I recently found you and have been getting a lot from your videos. When I do a search on etsy, it does not give an actual number of results. Usually it just says 1000+ results. Is this new or is it a setting I can change? Thanks
2:56 loooooooool hahahahah
You’re the third person lately to mention “Outwitting The Devil” about to add to cart now!
Books are great and still a very important part of gaining kowledge.
havent seen you in a minute..dem gains
fix minute 7:44, please...u have the bible passage instead of the OTD book excerpt
Influence as a book was super boring to me I couldn’t finish it
But those in the thumbnail are 8 🧐
I'm glad you didn't feature the book from the thumbnail in the video. The 48 Laws of Power is an awful book for narcissists and psychopaths. I would have been pretty upset with you if you had recommended it.
@josh6499 well you’re not necessarily meant to act upon the principles in the book you’re more meant to be aware of the laws so you defend yourself against them if a narcissist or psychopath tries to use them against you it’s meant to open your eyes. I’ve never used the laws but read the book and ran into people who were showing the signs shown in the book and my job after knowing was to defend by either ignoring or getting those kinds individuals out from life never once did i use the books information on people to manipulate. sometimes you gotta read the psychopaths playbook to see their manipulation coming and then steer clear from them.
Invest in yourself.
Thanks so much Alex
have you ever been told that you ressemble Sean Evans. From the way you talk and how articulated you are, not your appearance.
You are the second person to recommend Psycho Cybernetics. I will have to check it out. It sounds a lot like "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and "Reframe" from Scott Adams. As a Man Thinketh is a lot like The Strangest Secret. I have tried to read Rich Dad Poor Dad a couple times and just can't get into it. I love Kiyosaki but think my mind isn't ready for it yet. Thanks for the heads up on Outwitting the Devil I totally missed that. The Four Hour Work Week is a great book. I wish Tim would update it or someone would do a 2023/2024 version using AI. As a salesman Influence is required reading. Cialdini is OG influence guy. I just finished How to Win Friends for the third time recently. So much good info in there. Thanks for the book recommendations.
Robert Kiyosaki, Napolean Hill etc....don't drink the Kool-Aid of these gurus and UA-camrs and blindly follow their advice, check their background story, makes for quite interesting reading: scamming, hookers, running from the law etc. Robert has been called out on his BS. Take what he says with a grain-of-salt. This information can be found with a little elbow grease.
Yeah every celebrity has been called out for something.
Napoleon Hill was a scam artist and i often wonder why people give him credit, unless they too are scam artist 😮
show and prove NH was a scam artist.
Same.
In summary, while Napoleon Hill's work has inspired and motivated countless individuals, his legacy is marked by controversy related to the authenticity of his claims, his involvement in questionable business ventures, the lack of scientific evidence supporting his principles, allegations of plagiarism, and varying opinions on the effectiveness of his teachings. It's essential for individuals to critically evaluate his work and consider multiple perspectives when exploring personal development literature
