Finally got the opportunity to do the comparison between Stock Harman and Hypersonic. I was in dilemma whether to install Hypersonic or not and this analysis really helped.

..'Harman' system is undoubtedly the best system😎 as it is performing better even in my Rs.120/- Samsung 'EHS61 Earphone' compared to sound output of 'Hypersonic'.. For me Harman is hands down the best!!
Still it's an individual choice to consider..🤗

harman is not available at any service center , you got it from jugaad in 25000 to 30k

You have installed JBL Base Tube and 4 channel Amplifier in your old Tiago..
So I have a question that how is the sound quality of your current nexon's harman stock music system compared to ur old Tiago's costomized jbl sound??? Which one is better???

I had Pioneer system with 4 DD speakers and later I installed 4 channel AMP and JBL bass tube and tweeters too. With AMP and JBL bass tube, Bass goes very high so it can not be compared with normal stock speakers but I was surprised to see the very good bass from stock normal speakers and it blows your mind everything you listen to it...
The JBL bass tube and 4 channel amp I installed was only 8k but Mono AMP with DVC woofers will make a lot difference. I am planning for them!

I have a Nexon XM model which has the HARMAN music set ( Small one) . As usual , people are suggesting me to opt for a bigger one a 7 or 9 inch Touchscreen system. However, since HARMAN' sound quality is better ( that's what I have heard) . Is it really worth changing the already installed music system. Please suggest

Brother, since u r looking for an aftermarket HU I would suggest you to go for sony xav-ax8000 model.It's recently launched with 9" screen and can also fit in a single din slot.Price is on the higher side but it's totally worth it.

When TATA offers you the best, why you people go with alterations. Moreover alterations in car looses both warranty and insurance claims. In case if any body really needs a good music then go for class A amplifier. It's really good

Alterations do not loose warrenty. As long as their is no wire cuttings. Modern alterations are plug and play.. Like usb flash drive, but with different connectors. Don't know about insurance though..
which kind of class A amplifier, for stock speakers or the stock harman head unit.
A very good chance is that the stock speakers will be blown, even if they are not, the output will be as same replacing the head unit, if not better then the original.

And who has heard about insurance claim being void on system modifications.
Stock head units and stock speakers in whatever premium cars, will always be inferior to aftermarket systems. For that's how the whole thing runs.
Auto market mods and auto accessories have the highest rate of profit. Right from dealers to online platforms. For if you buy online @ a discounted price, then you need to install it somewhere and there you will be even.

I have an Altroz XZ variant where already a Harman infotainment system is fit in and it shows all the data/information of the vehicle such as mileage, safety, DRL controls ambient light controls etc. But I want to change it to a different infotainment system since Harman's response is very very slow. But I want to 'retain' ghe vehicle data/information which Harman shows. Since this Harman screen is just a 'display' and doesn't have a brain of its own, can we replace it and get the very same analytics as in Harman, from a different infotainment system such as sony/pioneer etc? This is XZ variant we are talking about.

Brother, If you need Good harman system, original rear power window, central lock and fordable mirror then go for XM and its VFM else XE

The screen gives a cheap look to an amazing car. But its everyone's own choice 👍👍. Sound is not even comparable, it can be louder but not soothing to ears.
Harman is owned by Samsung and JBL is owned by Harman. Great for good sound.
Two things are essential in case one doesn't have a touch screen - Navigation, Rear Camera.
I have one wireless car charger/holder ( Charge wireless while phone Navigation on) and IRVM with live feed rear cam with night vision. In normal IRVM, you still have blind spots specially in Nexon.

Yes, not only rear camera, as I am not very pro in narrow hilly road driving, even experienced drivers from plains also face problem judging the left side when giving pass to on coming cars and you have nobody to help you know how much space you have from the edge of the road, for example in Binsar WLS , the last 5 kms are very narrow , from that experience, I decided to install another camera to the left ORVM like we get to see 360 degree cameras in modern cars (eg. Nissan Kick). So these arrangements took some time to get them done , apart from several dash cams with different features. Wish I can make videos like Vinod sir. :-) Thanks

I connect my LG phone with HiFi DAC through aux to my Nexon xz+ diesel. Not even Bluetooth. No compromise with sound quality.

Try branded ones, Sony or pioneer (Not sure if its available). Chinese ones are all same with different branding.

Kind of impossible as of now.. A few of them have done it but whole dash needs to open which I dont recommend to go with due to rattling noise later

Hi Sir, thanks for the video. I booked my Nexon xm petrol last week.. Will get it in other week or so. Mean while I enquired for a stereo in a near by local shop in bangalore. He recommended me Blaupunkt 979 long beach. I did my initial research, it comes with Android 6.0 not sure if it's upgradable to latest version and not sure about the fitting as well. Pls let me know your suggestions.
I was also excited to install one of these but Harman did not let me replace it due to sound quality... I am still looking for good ones .... I am not sure about Blaupunkt.. sorry
Hi, Blaupunkt is no doubt a very good stereo, in my research i found 2 things 1 there wont be any OS update for it, however it wont cause you any trouble because all the apps now a days require android 5 or above, secondly be mindful of the fact that you wont get Google maps with Blaupunkt, instead you have to either mirror your mobile with the stereo and then use the maps for navigation or you have to purchase a subscription of map my India navigation system thats comes with a SD card which fits in the system and you can use the navigation then..Map my India comes with a cost of 4k when I enquired about it not sure if the price is same..Cheers..

Brother the dealer is making fool he said that after canbus connected your original car console will work and output will come out from that. Actually canbus is a device that control all company fitted switches like steering wheel controls, rear view parking sensors etc it's nothing to do with the company fitted silver console, I am telling you all this for your information.

I went for XM only because of Tata original central lock and power wondws and of course the amazinf music system..... I had pioneer AVH 299BT and 4 DD speakers in my Tiago but it can not match the quality of Harman :)

Harman Infinity Reference 6530 + 6522 Coaxiel = 6000 + 3500 = 9500 /- and Drivn by JL Audio Screen 2/32 with Apple Car Play / Android Auto = 9500 .....total setup around 19-20k

Always go for top.model. peace of mind. When we spending 9 lacs, spending 80k more for peace of mind is absolutely worth spending.
I have digipad 1.0 in my Honda Wrv diesel top model and it is crap! Onroad price was 11.5 lacs.. Honda city petrol top model 13.5 lac also used to come with same system that time.. Lots of complaints
@@gauravkumar1597 yes, could be, but 80k or 120k, guys will go for auto loans right. If yes, then emi will be not much of a difference for that extra money. Its a problem for people who buy with cash. Also there are many additional advantages like, factory fitted sound system, etc

Hello, my suggestion is to keep the stock Harman unless you really need a reverse camera screen. Your mobile will do all other functions. Spending 15-20k for reverse camera to be thought of.. when r u making installation video of Arm rest?? Awaiting that...

There was only one hand rest which is sold... so next lot is arriving on Wednesday I guess as per Nitin Bhai. AS soon as its here I will install them!!

Thanks for this video. Even I am in the same dilemma, whether to take XMA and install android touch screen (mainly for Reverse camera, navigation) or go for XZA+ and relieve me from this tension. Problem is that price difference is very huge between the two variants

@@RidiculouslyAmazing btw, the Hypersonic which you compared, was it DSP (digital signal processor) one or regular one ? As per the sellers, DSP ones have better audio output compared to regular ones. If you compared with regular one, may be you can make a similar video on comparing with DSP touchscreen

1. Harman Sound Quality
2. Android touch screens are laggy. When using Google maps, there is some delay.
My current setup in car is
1. Mobile holder: so that I can use maps and songs from mobile which are much faster than touch screen
2. Rearview mirror dash cam : this serves the purpose of reverse camera and also dashcam for front and back
