So KOBIBA was essential to all of our lives growing up playing the guitar? That’s crazy, I was in 4th grade in awe. So happy everyone else had the same experience I did. Thanks man
the best amp settings ever, i've been watching this video since i was 12 years old 'before i started playing guitar' and am still amazed right now by that awesome sound..
I remember watching this about 5 or 6 years ago, and I remember seeing some jokes that were popular in the comments, so im going to continue the legacy! "He wont show us his face because he's a robot."
Yeah, I remember those days I just hate myself now because there was this really great joke in the comments section that had like 200 likes, that was a freaking lot back in 2008.
Those bends are still fucking GOOOD... I can't believe this video still rocks my socks 11 years later and I'm nowhere near to be able to play with such precision and feeling!
even though it is an old video and has a bad video quality, it is the best sweet child or mine cover that I saw in all youtube, I always liked to see it
This guy really knows how to play guitar, I really don't know why people have dis-liked this video this guy is amazing. I think everyone can agree with me on this :)
Este cover yo lo veia cuando recien era un guitarrista principiante , por los años 2009 2010 aproximadamente , no olvido las tardes viendo este video para motivarme
I watched this when you first posted it man (I was only a kid), and hundreds of times since. To this day I've never seen a better cover! So much respect, Slash himself would be proud!
Guilherme Cartier Have you even listened to "Niko Slash" on UA-cam play? His cover songs are better quality they sound closer to the original songs and that's a fact you cannot deny. Everybody has their own opinion but KOBIBA'S cover songs are a little outdated
❤😘🤗 love it 6,300,104 views wow ❤❤❤ I was reading some of the comments here and I'm so proud of you !!! You are an inspiration for their career and changing their life playing the guitar wow I'm sooo proud of you 😍😘❤
Mythic look up niko slash he does as good as this guy if not better great job though just a bad recording it would sound good if it wasnt on youtube only reason i think its better
Falney LOL oh come on Axl is (was) actually damn good. Sweet Child is definitely more about the guitar than his vocals though, I didn't like his singing much on this song either. He absolutely KILLS it on Welcome to the Jungle though.
It’s been like 15 years since I first watched this video and I’m still blown away. He has captivated the studio recording of this song in it’s originality to the mother f***ing T like it is the tone a lot of us Slash fans have been searching for. I’ve used countless effects, amp modulators, computer software to try and come close to this guys tone and can’t get it the same. Pun not intended with this but I take my too hot off to you
I was just a little 8 year old when this came out, at that time it had been close to 1 year since my dad saw a potential in me and took the best decision of his life, which was to buy me a Hurricane Stratocaster and a little fender amp. Im 24 now and I can safely say that even though my relationship with my dad isn't in the best terms nowadays, Ill always be eternally grateful for the influence he had on my artistic side, not to mention my taste in music.. The first record I ever listened to was Heaven and Hell from Black Sabbath and still to this day my top 3 records of all time, thanks to my dad. Anyway, obviously no one cares about that, just wanted to out in perspective that this video in particular motivated me to keep learning and practicing, since I watched for the first time, 16 years ago. I always come back to it every now and then and every time I watch it its like the first time, really inspiring and nostalgic.
15 years later and I still come back to this cover! Love it man!
Same lol, you can find my comment from 12 years ago. I didn't play guitar for many years, now tryna get back on it!

Como yo no tengo nigún like;(
Almost nine years... Still the best.
+Paweł Zawadzki I agree.

Same. I was watching this video almost ten years ago and still the best cover I’ve seen.

You can't like a video as much as the first time you heard it 15 years ago, amazing!!!!!
I remember watching this about 5 or 6 years ago, and I remember seeing some jokes that were popular in the comments, so im going to continue the legacy! "He wont show us his face because he's a robot."
You just sent me back in time
good job
Slash did a nice cover of this.
MrShroomes WTF... 2007 I was a kid back then. I always thought I would MAYBE play this by now...

I've been watching your videos since I was about 12 years old, I'm now 18 and you completely inspired me to play guitar.
the tone of the beginning riff is PERFECT, like the studio version
nice playing... like the original melody... awesome!
even though it is an old video and has a bad video quality, it is the best sweet child or mine cover that I saw in all youtube, I always liked to see it
Fact! this is the greatest cover ever of this song 🎵 a brilliant guitarist! I applaud you sir 👏🏻 🙌

still the best cover after 13 years
How is there 948 thumbs down? This is awesome, does anyone else agree?
+Jason Paton 947 now, you must have changed someones mind :D
They're just jealous. Simple a that.
And yet, it is absolutely still the best live sound.
Prolly one of my favorite covers ever. Showed a friend today about how i listened to you 15 years ago when i first started playing. So much nostalgia
This guy really knows how to play guitar, I really don't know why people have dis-liked this video this guy is amazing. I think everyone can agree with me on this :)
I watched this when you first posted it man (I was only a kid), and hundreds of times since. To this day I've never seen a better cover! So much respect, Slash himself would be proud!
How did you get that back track without the singing and slash's guitar? :)
its on youtube along with most other gnr tracks
EB

This is the most faithful cover of the solo I've seen here.... Kudos man! Really impressed and inspired! Thanks for bringing this joy!
8 years later... Have yet to find a cover that beats this. Honestly can say I don't think it CAN happen.
The Effers niko slash
@@SauceTheGold Niko is really good but he has the original track in the background for a lot of the covers this is raw
After all these years, the 4:37 bend is soooo fking goood
Spot on. Nice playing.
The solo in this version gives me more chills than the actual song or the more recent cover Kobiba made. The epitome of making a guitar sing for me
Anyone 2019?
fun fact: you searched for this video
Yeah... 2007 - 2016 and this still are the greatest cover of all...
There are better guns n roses covers by Niko Slash on UA-cam
respect your opinion, but I don't agree :(
Guilherme Cartier Have you even listened to "Niko Slash" on UA-cam play? His cover songs are better quality they sound closer to the original songs and that's a fact you cannot deny. Everybody has their own opinion but KOBIBA'S cover songs are a little outdated
yes i've heard but kobiba sounds more nostalgic. But niko is fucking awesome too
***** He was never rude to me. How is selling something greedy?
Great guitar performance! guitar sounds is superb!!! amazingly beautiful........

Mythic look up niko slash he does as good as this guy if not better great job though just a bad recording it would sound good if it wasnt on youtube only reason i think its better
That is freakin nuts how good this is kobiba this is,,,, no HD,,, this was perfect!!
nice!!
Slash likes orange shirts!
what did he do @ 5:48?
i guess he is bending the head stock inwards to the guitar to lower the pitch
does that damage the guitar?
yeah thats generally not good for the guitar
You can just hold the note and lower the pitch with the pegs though, but this looks cooler i guess. XD
bvc11111
um what
benny704 Pretty sure he means that you could have just detuned to a lower pitch and it would have generally had the same effect.
Shut the hell up . You know nothing .
I remember being a freshman in highschool 12 years ago and just watching his videos. Crazy!
Someone in 2021?
The best part is watching him play. The second best part is not hearing Axel Rose sing.
ouch !
lmao
***** I didn't realise Axel Rose was the only singer on Earth.
Falney LOL oh come on Axl is (was) actually damn good. Sweet Child is definitely more about the guitar than his vocals though, I didn't like his singing much on this song either.
He absolutely KILLS it on Welcome to the Jungle though.
the061PUNK nah bruh
Anyone here in 2020?
Nope but I’m here I’m 2021!

Christian Fabris Look up Niko Slash
I was a child when watched in first time... 27 yo now! The best cover ever hehe
Don't know why anybody would dislike this, you make it look so easy!
long-time favorite and still the best SCoM cover I have ever seen on youtube. period.
Remember listening to this exact video while trying to pick up this guitar solo in 2008 when I was 13. Still the best .

The most beautiful is the sound! amazing and absolutely magnificent. The tuning of the guitar and the sound in its whole!
Once more, magnificent.
I was legit 8 year old kid with biggest ambition ever.. thanks to this guy I've been playing for over 10 years.. thanks KOBIBA

2-3 years ago, this was the video that made me want to learn how to play guitar.. Thank you Kobiba!
Best cover I've heard to date, you are quite the guitarist!!! Excellant! Where do we go!!!:)
Just cannot give you enough props on your tone and playing!
The best cover so far
This is absolutely sick!! I love his style and sound! About 10 seconds into the solo I subscribed.
2022 here we go, im still here
Um wow. Bet that took a while to learn! Always admired someone who could play an instrument, especially the guitar. Simply amazing!
I love the first part and the whole song is amazing itself! I listen to this like every day. Kobiba has skills.
Dude, stay #1! u r the best in the west! never take this post down ever!
Goose-bump performance!! Love it!!
You changed the notes in some places... AND I LOVE IT!
It’s been like 15 years since I first watched this video and I’m still blown away.
