Agree with all that!! I was just at an exhibition and had my surround signed by several PDC players and they were more than happy to do so. Hunting down players to get to get a piece of paper signed to sell online is pretty - classless.
nah ...... they should NEVER charge for a sign within a venue ..... outside however everyone is fair game . If you paid to get in you paid to see the person in the flesh .... if you waited outside then theres no reason for anyone to sign anything . They are little more than vultures not fans .
I can't wrap my mind around the fact that there are people buying a white piece of paper with a signature on it, what's the point? You didn't even meet the player, why the hell would you want to buy that, what emotions or memories is that piece of paper gonna give to you when you look at it? It just doesn't make any sense
@@user-hs9tb8wf2l yes but you didn't enjoy the experience yourself, what's the point? At that point you might as well print a photo of the player and make his fake signature by yourself, it would have the same exact meaning
people buy the signatures then merge them with photos and other stuff to frame and sell. So you'd get photos of the PDC Final- add Littler and Humphries' autographs on card frame it all and sell it. It can be quite lucrative you can also wait until they do something and add the signed card to that.
I’ve only been into darts since January (thanks to Littler) but the attitude of some of the fans have astounded me, it seems to be football hooligans that have made the switch over to the darts community and Price has every right to speak up for himself and his colleagues.
Keep the faith . The welsh lads managed to upset just about everyone on the planet where you will stuggle to find a bad word said aginst others such as bobby george . Lukes a little bit special and long may he last .
Much better when you talk naturally without script like you do here, as opposed to the pre-prepared delivery. Just a friendly observation. Channel content is really good though.
I was actually given a signed Phil Taylor darts case, with darts ! Given to me by a gentleman that is manager in one of the major north east venues, , the Masters I will keep them forever man !
Totally agree with players taking a stand against autograph scalpers. It's a massive problem in loads of other areas with big fanbases. WWE stars have a big problem with this. Getting people harassing them at airports with like 30 identical funko pop boxes to sign so they can stick them on ebay. Scalpers ruin it for everyone no matter what fandom it is
To be honest if they sign it then you can expect it to be sold they're an auction firm in London specialising in selling sports memorabilia just last week a Rangers football signed shirt by Derek Johnstone the 1 he wore in 1972 sold for 18.000. But if you look at they're site they will put any official signed memorabilia up for auction so the guy should just send them they're that simple people will pay for it. As for privacy no such thing in a public space atleast in Uk
Now there is a time and place for people to get autographs same with filming. Being polite goes a long way avoids going to court and being put in prison. Because this can be classed as harassment.
I have a friend who is a professional sports person I won’t say name or in what sport but she asks who’s it to when signing an autograph and if they say they don’t want a name she doesn’t sign it
Completely agree, why should some muppet make money out of them when they have enough problems. Have their own management etc which will provide signed memorabilia. Sign a darts case or something, but don't try and flog it online 🤷
I've have met hundreds of pdc players ex and current at leagues exhibitions and tournaments played a alot of them I can confirm I do not ask for a signature or picture because when they are trying to play I leave them with respect the only player I wanted to sign something for me I was at a exhibition with Phil taylor and he signed my phase 5 case I would never sell it odds are if you mention or think of alot of players I've met them
@simonlevett4776 in this instance, absolutely. He refused to sign anything for the person filming and said "I know what you do with those." He stopped to sign a photo a fan had gotten with him previously that was printed. That's a personalised item. A one off. It's absolutely right that players don't want scalpers earning off their signatures
price was right on most things but he doesn't understand that whilst he is in public or visible from public places his permission to be filmed is not required.

It’s a shame how some idiots have to ruin everything for genuine fans.
Michael signing four of them was a noob error....
Great video. Your channel is really building into something great. Can't wait for the next vid!
Thanks!
Great to see what you look like , keep up the good work love the vids 👍
Thanks 👍
I was more than happy to pay for a signed photo at an event, you know the dart players are winning from it and it’s a bargain for the memory

Because they make big frames with photos of different special moments of that player the put signed paper in they look good when you see them online

You don't need permission to film somebody in the street
Yea you don’t legally but it’s still weird behaviour
Good vid pal 👌
Thanks 👍
Great in depth video mate 👍🏻
Thanks 👍

Yup. These people spoil it for fans who actually want to keep an autograph for a memento.
ok to get sign cards at the premier shoot
Completely agree, why should some muppet make money out of them when they have enough problems.

I asked Van Gerwen to sign my backside because I think it looks like him, butt he refused.

MVG proving again he's one of the smartest players...
Really ?

Good potht. Thee you nekth time
All wrong yes but don’t need permission to film people in public 👍
Everyone’s trying to earn a few quid, shame some have to go all Tory. Darts is a working man’s game.
What a stupid comment.
These are slime balls though they’re not real fans and they’re purely using the players to make money off the players
Price is a slime ball .
@@alanhargreaves-thevoiceofr2361 far from it. He just doesn't want a leech profiting off his signature. There's nothing wrong with that
They’re leeches and selfish ones at that. Just spoil it for the real fans.
Stop sleeping with your. parents its easy
