I hear so many older performers who try but just cannot reach those high notes. Lou can. I've been a fan since I was 13 and I'm still a dedicated fan of Lou Christie. He's still a great singer and performer.
Lou is kind of similar to Jim Nabors, huh? Jim’s speaking voice was waaaay different than his singing voice, amirite, just like Lou. The only song I don’t like is “Lightning Strikes. . .” mostly since I am a female and a parent, ha-ha!! The rest of Lou’s songs are terrific! BTW, I have 2 sons, but I still dislike the words to “Lightning…”. I like the tune, thou!

I saw Lou Christie in Reno at a concert with Frankie Avalon and Fabian. They were so awesome 👌. This was back in 2004 and I loved it 😋. Yea for all the oldies. 50's and 60's will always live forever ❤.

We use to go to wvok shower of stars in Birmingham, AL to watch Lou Christie! I remember one time my sister and some of her friends got up a petition to send to the radio station to get him to come back for another show! My mom waited on us outside to pick us up after the show and she saw him come out after he performed and he gave a young girl a stuffed animal. Mother said he seemed so polite.
Mr Christie definitely deserve Consideration for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame LEGENDS. One of Early Teen Idols from the 50s and Early 1960s.

I saw Lou in Las Vegas several years back on New Year’s Eve - front row seats - worth every penny we paid for them. Great way to start a New Year.
