Angela, what about the cost of the units (broken down into purchase price / number of expected items over working life if the machine), there would also be power costs to run the machines, servicing costs (from time to time), insurance, tax and location expenses (unless you are working from home). The final net “profit” would be your “take home return” or after wages if you employed staff!

Of course you also have a significant investment in the equipment necessary to do this, so you've got overhead to think about, plus it takes some talent. No one should fault you for making a tidy profit from this. I hope this is happening regularly for you!

I guess if you included the costs of machine depreciation, machine maintenance, labour, rent of the building, energy bill, delivery and tax; the profit would be a little bit less, but eventually it’s a good margin.
Just have the buyer pay for all of that. Problem solved!

How do you package one hat to ship out
hello. I have 3 brother machines a 6 needle and 2 -10 needles, they are monsters with the dad caps n other hats, however the infamous stiff front, NEW ERA 59-50 that soo many people covet are impossible to do w these. do u have a solution for it with ur machines? or can they handle those just fine?
I probably would've charged $12-15. Good profit though 👍
