Instead it reinforced Chinese claimed. Since the Sovereignty of the area has been established after ww2 under the new world order. CHINA have sovereignty over the area the surrounding water is China EEZ.

China is 700 nautical miles away from the island and within 200 nautical miles of Philippines. I know China is too greedy when it comes to buffet but didn't know they are pirates as well.

It does not make sense that China would urge UN to ignore Philippine petition therewith regarding the matter of extension of our Continental shelf; it won't abide by any decision the UN may make regarding the issue.

The UN must keep pressuring China that as a member it must follow its rules like the UNCLOS decision in 2016 regarding Philippines EEZ. The UN shall give specific deadline for China to adhere to the UN law. Otherwise, China's UN membership should be terminated.

Even without 'extended continental shelf', there's still EEZ, but then again 'extended continental shelf' is a thing of UNCLOS, like it or not. China need to reflect themselves acting like pirates inside other countries EEZ.
PH urges UN not to consider China's request for extended SCS beyond 200-mile EEZ of PH. Request agreed upon in 2016 already.
