I love the filmstrip technique. I did something similar for my nephew’s birthday but did it with a comic strip of superhero’s. Love listening to you as you build your cakes.
Rosie if you made these film strip photos on your own edible images printer can you do a tutorial on how you did this? Many are interested! I only go through a company but love to see how you do it
Wow, who knew you could do that? What a lovely idea for a very special occasion!! I'm sure your family must have loved this cake, a beautiful sentiment for sure!! Super job, Rosie!! ❤🙏🏽😊🤗
Hey Rosie what printer do you use? I'm trying to source a printer but an inexpensive one for the time being. could someone recommend one for me or leave a link below and what edible inks do you use? Thank you I'll be looking out for replies.
I go through a company here in California. You go on a website and chose the lay out then upload the photos and put notes in how you want it to look. Sometimes the company you use may have a film strip option to arrange the pictures in and then you upload it that way. They will send you the final product in the mail like mine did. It can’t jut perfect!
Hola me encanta todo su trabajo aprendo mucho gracias a usted.. podría ponernos como sacar las impresiones plis..en inglés no ay problema nosotros traducimos 😘
awesome! I really wish you would cut into your cakes, tho. I would love to see what it looks like with the syrup, custard and chocolate ganache dam. Looks delicious though!
I love this technique how can I learn it. It was amazing I'm really loving it. My son just graduated & he's into film making. This would blow his mind. Thank you
Love it! Such a cool design for a celebration! Maybe some could answer a question for me... Did you add the cherry liquor after the simple syrup was made and cooled? Ok, or did you add it to the simple syrup as is cooked? Just wondering if you should not serve this cake to kids because of the alcohol. TY to any who answer!
Omg this is beautiful as usual! Would make a great anniversary cake! Wish I would have seen this last week. It was my parents anniversary last Saturday. We’re these film strips for your in-laws anniversary?
hi lovely! I am actually in the process of making my grandmothers 80th cake and revamping this video tutorial with the process of how to make it and the printing lol your comment came at the perfect time ;) I will be sharing this video soon x
The cake is amazing but the cuts from the film strepts don’t line up at all .. try cutting it with a clean razer or sharp knife After you assemble it exactly where it meant to be. Thanks.
