I love how you are able to explain the subtle differences that some of us may overlook and wouldn’t even notice. Keep pushing the good content and knowledge sir.
I sooo love these, very articulate sq, punchy sound, and sensitive too to maximize limited power. Absolutely cannot go wrong, especially running 4 yeah boway!! Respect from KY fam
I run 4 in 3.7 cubic feet with just over 15 square inches of port area per cube. I can't remember the length. People never believe that it's 4 budget 8's being pushed by a cheesy D4S JP8 at 1 ohm. I love em!
copper transfer block for the sealed box ... if the metal could be bonded (magnets) to the body somewhere; the idea would be the heat from the eventually hot air inside the box is heating up the copper/aluminimum and it transfers the heat to the body of the car; sort of like how an air cooler for your PC moves heat away; though they use heat pipes. There you go ... old air cooler for PCs would have copper heat pipes designed to move the heat away. Technically, could set up the rad and a fan outside. I mean, I'll never be bumping bass that hard; don't think my casual listening is going to overheat a 8" CompRT in a 0.5 cu.ft. sealed box (modified factory). My guess is you really have to be pushing it; long term SPL type stuff; not any normal genre of music blasting at a level that doesn't cause permanent crickets in your ears (some days that tinnitus is rough; sounds like I'm in a forest of cicadas; protect your ears folks). I was looking for the Fs of the CompR and CompRT 8" subs. my guess they hit deep if they are M.B. approved!
I'm running 1 on these in a T-line box I built for it, sound quality is fantastic and it dings down low. I need to upgrade it though since I'm running with a dribble from my JP95.
how do you think a single u6.5 would perform for someone who just wants to fill in bass of their lacking mercedes system. I was thinking 36hz tune. Think that would work?

Thank you for remembering about us budget bass heads!
About to put 4 of these in a 2 cube sealed box on a fosgate bdcp power 1000🔥🔥
Yeah I'm thinking about 3 8's or 4 6.5's on a fosgate 1200 still looking at a bunch of different options rn.
These subs are GREAT for running multiple sealed, great!
MBE not leaving anyone behind in bass land.
It's like breathing in & out with that cooling

Jp amps aren't really bad. Quality amps.
