HI Diane, I enjoyed this morning listening to you while cleaning in zone 4 (at a very leisurely pace :-)) using the video as a timer. Have a great day and I love that yellow outfit on you, it is so sunny!
Same here! We have our dog food delivered by Chewy in those gigantic boxes and I saved many for my decluttering projects. I literally have EIGHT of those large boxes packaged up and tucked in a corner of the basement, waiting for the donation centers to be ready to accept items again. Everything from home decor to clothing in there! And I'm not done yet. Ha!
Kristyn Lorraine Hall Me too. I'm planning a yard sale maybe for some decluttered electronics. When I was out walking yesterday I saw something my neighbor did with her declutter pile. She put many plastics, pictures, and baskets outside in her front yard with a "free" sign. I got some baskets and a cute picture for my patio. She said she was able to move a lot of clutter that way. Everything is out on patio airing out for now.
Your clothes are so beautiful, you always look lovely. I sometimes try to recreate your outfits because they look great. I live in the U.S. and have the hardest time finding clothes. You can find gray t shirts anywhere, to find the yellow you are wearing would be very hard. You have such quality in Denmark. Happy for you, keep up the good work, cheers.
If you're a Lifestyle member of DYT there are two "Style Inspire" boards each week which show US/International brands of clothing/items (both in-store and online shopping) so it's easy to find items for your type 🖐👚👗
@@DianeinDenmark Thanks, I have been eyeing becoming a member. I think the cards would be helpful. I think I am a 1 as happy colors seems to work well for me.
Gina Another Lifestyle member here saying I find the cards really helpful and that says a lot as I have dressed others professionally as well as doing colors and makeup for 50 (!) years. Something fun to explore right now as we are all being challenged to show up as our best selves now. Wishing you fun times exploring your colors. Hugs!
I loved my school uniform, it had a navy wool, pleated skirt, and a white cotton midi blouse with detachable white-striped navy wool sailor collar and cuffs. It was beautiful, I thought.
Hi Diane, good to hear that your son is back at school. Here in Sweden my children 9 and 13 goes to school but those 15 and up have online classes. We also have a lot of pollen here and avoid hanging clothes outside now when the pollen level is up the roof... Thank you for your daily inspiration - a little a day goes a long way is my motto 💜😄
Hi Diane, you look like a ray of sunshine in yellow today. I'm so happy to hear that Denmark is able to lift some restrictions and I hope it all goes well for everyone involved. I'm afraid I am still not a Fly Lady but I love to watch you almost daily and I get motivation and inspiration to do what I need to do. Since your 40 day declutter challenge I have managed to declutter the debris from the patio garden (and prepare most of the garden). A young relative also came to pick up my antique dining chairs that I've been wanting to give away for some time. I'm so happy to have kept them in the family with someone I know will take care of them lovingly and as good as, or better than, I would. One day when all my larger jobs are done I am hoping to get properly into the Fly Lady system but for now I'm enjoying what I've been able to do through your motivation. Have a lovely week ahead. xx
I love that you mentioned that you don't need to change out a seasonal wardrobe. I am interested in dressing your truth! I have to change out my seasonal closet. I'm watching your video and cooking dinner! Enjoy your Tuesday!
You look beautiful in the yellow blouse. Hope you decide to keep it! Loved the chat and declutter. I am inspired to clean out my closet-again. T3/S4 signing off.
London here!👋 A gorgeous day ☀️ children back to online learning! Relieved to know that Denmark has crazy weather too! I always have a cardigan handy 😄I look forward to tomorrow's tour of deserted Copenhagen.I admire how Denmark ( and New Zealand) have handled this crisis, thank you for such relevant updates! I am a Type 4/3 in DYT and had to smile at your comment on the white-and-navy shirt. You perfectly explained why I finally tossed several like it! They were all in my colors and I've seen many type 4s wearing them in their "outfit of the day" posts. But they just felt too blended for me personally. Now, when I find a true crisp check print or gingham without the blending ... sold! LOL. Especially if it has some structure but still allows me to move freely. (That's the 3 part of me -- I cannot stand wearing anything too constrictive. It can make finding the perfect items more difficult, but when I do find them it's gratifying!)

Hi there! You should try different belts with those two dresses! You can completely change the look with a different belt. I would try patent leather with the Laura Ashley and maybe leather or suede with the chocolate brown.😘

That's a great Idea, dividing the garden into zones Diane. Looking at it and seeing all the jobs needing done is overwhelming but dividing it into zones makes it more doable. I was looking for something not bloodthirsty or violent to listen to while walking my dog. So many of my audio books are about murder. On the audio books app with free books I found Miss Mapp by EF Benson. Since you like PG Wodehouse you might like that tool.
In NY here and starting to think this year will be a bust for my DD14. She's doing assignments online but I wonder how the grades for the year will be tallied. I usually attend a meeting for her IEP for the next year about this time and haven't heard anything about that yet either. Such strange times we live in...
@@ForbiddenChocolate very strange I m assuming it's exam year for your daughter. Ye have different lingo to us here in europe lol. Yes I wonder what ll happen. We have been off for easter but not much update since they were to go back to home study. The world has changed and possibly for the better. I m not sure if College and uni is the option with debts up to their eyeballs and forever tied into the banks !!!
🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 Good morning sunshine yellow! Love that color on you. Is it "on probation" because of the color or because of the collar shapes? I like the blouse and camisole shapes together but the cardigan shape does not seem harmonious it s with the other pieces-- too many lines going in different directions and a tension between the lines that look like they should meet up closer. You have so many nice cream jumpers and jackets; they some other top layers before letting go of such a lovely blouse. I am thinking your long cream duster with the more vertical collar might be worth a try. On the other hand, your letting go of so many lovely things is inspirational. When I look in my closet, I see many face masks staring back at me. Time to get the sewing machine out. 😳😄😷😷😷😷😷😷
Sorry, are you saying polo neck! Very cute. Turtle neck here. No one woman wants anything turtle describing a neck. I propose this change here in the states 😜
We did zone 3 last week (bathroom plus one other room, I focused on our basement). You can find the current zone/missions here www.flylady.net/c/sp.php#missions No worries about the bedroom, you can just do the bathroom this week 😃
LOL! Go look at last week's videos/Instagram posts, we were definitely talking about zone 3 😄 Perhaps you got confused because I've filmed a lot of videos from my bedroom since we went into Lockdown several weeks ago? 🤔 (My family are studying/working from home so I cannot film all over the house)

Good day, everyone! I didn't have the best week regarding keeping up with routines, but I'll bounce back. Last night, as I was shining my sink, my 2yo had a surprise for me: she had emptied out ALL the drawers, the beautifully KonMari-ed drawers, apparently looking for her favorite dress. The room was covered in clothes! I stuffed it all back so that it wasn't on the floors, and thought to myself, "well, now I have to go through everything and declutter" :). Good news that we are in Zone 4! Trying not to lose my cool! Hope you are all well and staying positive!
~Looks around bedroom~ Where have you hidden the cameras, Diane? 😄 I've been binge baking and the clean laundry is piling up on me. One basket on the chair, another at the foot of the bed, ironing board has been standing at the ready for longer than I want to admit and I shudder at the thought of going through the totes under my bed! 😂 I have to make time for these things but also have to stock up on baked goods for the summer months. My kitchen is in full sun all day and I don't dare use the oven in the summer. But my kitchen sink is shiny! 😁 I have to touch up my hair color today so I'll tackle the laundry while I'm processing. Thank you for calling me out on my procrastination, I needed a swift kick in my bahookie! Btw, you look lovely in yellow. I especially like the billowy yellow summer blouse, I remember it from last summer and it's so pretty on you!

Good morning sunshine yellow!
😳😄😷😷😷😷😷😷
aww that blue paisley one made me getting big eyes tho i am a 2/1
Do you save some of your kids cloths and toys for your grandkids one day???
We have saved a few things but mainly toys (clothes would be 25-30 years old!)
Hi Diane- how are they dealing with schools back for your son? Do they have to wear masks and social distancing?
Video tomorrow 🖐
Sorry, are you saying polo neck! Very cute. Turtle neck here. No one woman wants anything turtle describing a neck. I propose this change here in the states 😜
Hi Diane - I am confused! I thought we did the bedroom last week - I did and thought it was the bathroom this week.
We did zone 3 last week (bathroom plus one other room, I focused on our basement). You can find the current zone/missions here www.flylady.net/c/sp.php#missions No worries about the bedroom, you can just do the bathroom this week 😃
I am really confused - I check in with you each day - not sure what happened. I will do bathroom this week and go the relevant zone next week
@@DianeinDenmark I will check it ouy

Good day, everyone! I didn't have the best week regarding keeping up with routines, but I'll bounce back. Last night, as I was shining my sink, my 2yo had a surprise for me: she had emptied out ALL the drawers, the beautifully KonMari-ed drawers, apparently looking for her favorite dress. The room was covered in clothes! I stuffed it all back so that it wasn't on the floors, and thought to myself, "well, now I have to go through everything and declutter" :). Good news that we are in Zone 4! Trying not to lose my cool! Hope you are all well and staying positive!
Oops! 😅 Have a lovely day, dear Thea!
Roll neck ..?
Laura Ashley is going out of business I think. Lots of sale items though! very sad.
