Pecos National Historical Park

Our Trip Out West - 2022 Day 3
We stopped at Pecos National Historic Park in Pecos, NM on our way from Santa Rosa, NM to Los Alamos, NM during our trip out West. The weather was misty and cool, which was a surprise to us. We've always pictured New Mexico as hot desert, and it's so much more!
We all love history and our, in particle, loves ruins. He big request for this trip was American Indian ruins, and this place did not disappoint. It was very interesting seeing the cultural crossroads that Pecos is. A seeing how the different trades and people, both native and not, interacted with one and the land.
