Omg thank you for the advice 🥺 I'm very nervous about basic training my menstrual pains are horrible and I always faint or vomit, I don't know what I'm going to do with that in basic training if they don't let pills in 🥺
Definietly go to Sick Call when you feel like that because your not allowed to bring your own medication. You might want to talk to your doctor before you ship out, maybe you could take birth control pills to stop your body from getting it. But please consult a professional medical person first. Best of luck! Thankyou for watching and please subscribe 💜
Omg same and sometimes the pills don't even work for me honestly this is the only thing scaring me about basic I truly don't want to miss something important because of my period
Worse case scenario you can always get on birth control. You'll have to get it from sick call, because you can't bring your own medicine. Alot of girls I knew did that and didn't get a period for 2 months. Everyone's body is different but just a suggestion
Here's a helpful tip: Be sure to use unscented baby wipes because when you're acutally out on duty, the scent can give away a soldier's presence. Even the wipes in MRE's come unscented for this reason.
It's actually recommended to use pads and change them often so you won't smell. Because If you forget to take the tampon out you may experience Toxic Shock Syndrome
You might need to ask your gynecologist for birth control pills. They may make your period less heavy or may even stop it for 1-2 months. Everybody's body is different so I recommend asking the professionals! Thankyou for watching and please subscribe ❤️
Idk if this happens to most but I have to wear tampons when I shower because even when I get out I’ll bleed and it used to get on my towel. Is it embarrassing when showering ? Like how is the shower situation ?
@@Nikki3b0oxX I was nervous too but honestly it's not that big of a deal. The girls in basic are not worried about your body, everyone's mind is on army stuff
Everyone's body is different. When I went to basic everyone got their period lol. Some didn't get it if they were on Birth Control. But I would consult a professional doctor for medical advice.
Something to consider, if your BMI drops too low yes that can happen, but its not normal or rather ideal. Keep in mind mens bmi can be much lower than ours. We need like 15% and any lady with abs is typically below that.
Can u plz tell... isn't it difficult for them to train while periods.... Or do they have off during those days?... Like if they r having cramps... Do they still need to go and attend everything actively?

Hello ! I have a question plz ! What if I got my period and I have cramps ! Is it possible to get painkiller prescription from the sick call ?? Thank you
No love I mentioned that in the video, you can't bring anything with you. You have to go to the nurses office called "Sick Call" whenever you feel pain
"Sick Call" is the name of the actual Clinic there's no phone number. You have to ask the drill sergeant if you can go and they will tell you to take your battle buddy with you so that your not by yourself. The battle Buddy has to be a female
@@joypressley4821 Thank you so much. I’m going to OSUT at Fort Benning in September 14th. I’m so nervous, I don’t want to be that one single female who go there. Any advice? my mos is a combat job.

yooo real question in basic training do they make all girls shower together naked no curtains or privacy,…?
There's individual shower stalls with curtains. However there are girls who like to show everything and walk around in the bathrooms without a towel

You will have to get it once you are in basic. They have it at the Army Hospital facilities.
