The old flat head sounds pretty sweet, I had a 40,48 and 50 Ford, seem to remember ,clutch was very sensitive from a dead start. You have learned a ton and have reason to be very proud of your accomplishments and sticking with it. Best of luck in all your pursuits.
Jackson Stephens Thanks, I appreciate the comment. I had open headers and it made me think I was at a higher rpm than I actually was for this run. Later I put ceramic insulation in the pipes and my video from back in November is a little better!
Nice ride along Ben. Any chance you are running a 3 speed transmission? I just picked on up for my seized 8BA flathead. Hopefully soon I will have a video of the motor on the stand and a rundown of some recenlty purchased parts. This is my first flathead project so seeing you out in your just excites me more to get mine going.
Matt Haney thanks! I have a 1938 three speed toploader. It throws me out of second so I have to hold it in. 39 is the year everyone wants. Hope to see you make some videos!
I will have to get a video up. I am not sure exactly what year this trans i got is. I am trying to figure that part out. Once I can get he block home i will try and put a video up of the parts. Thanks Ben

Sound mighty agressive during those "warp speed hyper drive" passages.
Gotta follow this one.
Thumbs up!

Great! I wish my Model A hot rod was ready to drive.

Sorry for the poor audio/ video quality- I am in the process of figuring out a better camera mount.

Maybe you know someone that can tell from the number on the transmission I got? It has a 1A-7006-A stamped on it. Thank you if you could help :)
Matt Haney quick research says 49-54. Tail end of the flatheads so it must be pretty good...
Awesome! Thank you. Do you know if there is a floor shift option for this style of transmission? I need to either find one or make one :)
