    It can be so difficult for these companies to explain their botanical gels because just saying fine hair can be confusing. This gel is definitely likely a need for fine haired naturals with low density hair. It also likely can work well for some people with smooth or silky hair that maybe don't have coarse as in large hair strands. Although anybody with a little bumpiness (med to coarse surface texture) likely has to be a little more mindful of how they apply this gel to avoid flakes. I feel good writing this comment because I know you'll know what I'm talking about. 😅🎉

    I’m curious, BUT while I adore Adwoa Beauty’s Baomint defining cream and gel - they are marvelous products…They don’t last and have seriously flaked.
    Major caveat tho…I noticed I get little or no flaking and more hold when I use the products outside of my home city of LA…When I’m in my birth city of Chicago visiting my Mom, the defining cream and gel are 🔥. Who knows what will happen in the horrid Chicago humidity tho! 😮
    Thanks, for another marvelous review, girl‼️😊😊😊

    The way this looks, it reminds me over the pattern gel (the one in the tube) and I loveee that gel as a base gel. I need to try this 😭

    Great review! Now I kinda want to buy it, just for the scent… since it smells that good!

    Thanks Kayla. I was eyeballing this as a base gel until I saw the placement of the xanthan gum. I love scents so I might try it one of these days.

    GURL....Thank you for explaining what fine hair is!!!! The girlies need to know 😅😅😅😅😅 I couldn't wait to grab it because I know exactly what fine here means so I'm hoping it's going to work well when I use it next week. I bought the leave-in conditioner with it so I'm going to pair them together and we shall see!!!!!

    I need this melonberry gel to last like the Blue Tansy shampoo, which lasted me a long time so far.

    I stand corrected on this gel! I had low expectations per the ingredients but as I actually have fine, medium density hair this may even be a one and done *gasp* Cant remember the last time I used only 1 product for a wash and go 😂
    You used PM as a topper, do you think a mousse would work as well?
    Thanks for sharing!

      @WhatTheKink  Рік тому +2

      If you are using a stronger hold mousse, perhaps. Then, it’d almost be like using the PM gel.

    How is your hair not dry with just gel on it? I'd like to do the same but I fear the moisture wouldn't last for 7 days

    • @WhatTheKink
      @WhatTheKink  Рік тому +11

      Starting from the beginning, my hair itself is well hydrated. The gels that I’m using are botanical and contain humectant ingredients.

    $24 for a product that's likely 50% glycerine. Ugh.
