Me too! I was drawn in by how the people in these videos portrayed traditional rural lifestyles and made everything by hand. Until I read the comments and there were many saying it's so fake and staged, claiming the people in the video are actually quite rich. I still like to watch the handicrafts like making furniture by hand, sewing traditional clothes and embroidery but now that the illusion of a simple life is gone, it's quite disappointing.
