A recent study in the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) highlighted the fact that there are 2 times higher rates of suicide attempts among the Muslim population. Hear from both a leading mental health expert and a national leader on what roles the teachings of our faith play in the prevention of suicide, how a community should respond in postvention of suicide, and how shedding light on the importance of mental healthcare can uplift the community and provide critical resources to those who are struggling and their families.
The Annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The convention takes place in Chicago, Illinois every December during the winter holiday season.

Wow people actually made our mental problems worse than it was, i don't know what's our fault to be in such a situation, also does Allah even allow this to happen definitely no! what is my fault if ive been suffering and couldn't do my prayers and love my deen in peace with this mindset, thoughts and hating towards myself i had or still have given by a lott of ppl! And the worst of all is giving wrong image and thoughts of islam and keep judging like if they are allowed they are literally trying to cut the most important thing in our lifes
Slms i likr listenig to u. If i tell my kids im suffrring from mertal health the tell me im imaginig myself my mind wrk overrte .i wake up ,3 clock cant sleep. I do my tahajud evryday begging Allah to make me feel bettr i lost my husbnd 3 yrs ago snd im depended on my kids. My wish is for happiness so they can make hmes forthemselves and i can feel happiness in them. The only thng i do is recite to feel connected to Allah.
I hope this sets an example for so many others

I don’t feel being cared and love.
And if his. Only concern of me being healed
