"Power belongs to no one, yet there are many who try to snatch it away.
Decades of struggle earned me my power
If power comes to me it's because of who I am.
After such a glorious battle won..
No one can take it away.

Dear Alannah, I 1st met you 1988/89 at the Grover Exchange. Floody family our mutual connection. Some weeks ago you reached out to me with a friend request but before I could accept, you chickened out. I don't blame you. However, I will be there for you if you wish. Wally, Betty and your parents never suffered fools. I was a close friend of Wally and Betty from the age of 12 until Wally passed in 1989 and Betty in 2004. I am always willing to talk with no strings if you wish. You know how to contact me as you have before. Best wishes.

Actually Alannah, I find it quite funny in terms of Black Velvet. Upon first hearing, I was clueless. I had NO idea that this related to Elvis. I just loved the song and your voice. Funny? My uncle was head brewmaster of Schlitz Breweries in Memphis in 1973. I spent that Summer there. Hot as Hell and not a great time. At age 16, I was NOT a fan of Elvis. To me he was Elvis Parsley and a has-been. Still, my aunt and uncle INSISTED that I visit Graceland. I didn't want to go but they nearly DRAGGED me! Elvis was living there at the time and I actually SAW him but I was not impressed nor grateful. Only now do I appreciate my aunt and uncle's insistence.
