Hi! On the Warhammer TV channel, there was a DG trailer with Lord of virulence, I liked the music there, but unfortunately this video was deleted as I understood, do you know what the track is? I'm sorry, I don't know much English, but I watch your videos all the time and I love your channel.
The one thing I wish I could change about the deathguard is the way so many of them have weird looking growths and tentacles instead of the exposed guts we see in the artwork. Like this guy and his plague udder.
The reason he has that terminator armour is that DG does get new brethren from astartes that are loyal to Nurgle. Although yeah most of the legion consist of Horus heresy era OG DG marines
I actually like him quite a lot, I feel like he doesn't give up a lot of melee power compared to the Lord of Contagion in exchange for gaining quite a decent shooting attack for no extra points cost. His extra aura isn't fantastic, but it could potentially do a bit of work combined with Ferric Blight or Arch Contaminator and Virulent Rounds.
I think its a cool model, and I did order one, but I think the lord of Contagion is going to see more tabletop time (when we can have tabletop time again)
Back in the days where cash made up most transactions in shops there used to be a saying that a customer was likely to have X amount of cash in their pocket ready to spend on impulse purchases. Throughout time with things like blister packs and smaller squads (think like the £6 imp guard squads or £10 ETB marines) GW has fed on the idea of that impulse purchase where a parent would go in with a kid who wouldn't want to leave empty handed would keep their stores ticking over. Now we all go in and pay with cards the concept of how much we are spending is harder to fathom and I feel GW have clocked onto the fact that "pocket money" purchases are becoming a thing of the past. As such they push it up 50p every 6 months and it doesn't hit that the price has gone up a lot. Meanwhile they can sell us a plastic primaris tech marine for £23.50 when the old £13 resin/metal tech marine is still available and made of what should be a more expensive mould.
To the comment about him being in newer armor, correct me if I’m wrong but can’t newer marines and terminators from the imperium be converted to Papa Nurgles cause?
He is okej model. The skirt design is bad bekos the cables is like ha had walked backwords for them be in that position they are in. And i wold liked if they gived grave warden unit instead. But the lord of Virulence have teknekly same weapons like they had in horus herrsy.
The character model pricing is getting daft now. I really wonder where the ceiling will be. On a side note, I'm not a big fan of the styling on the DG range. Don't get me wrong there are some great opportunities to kit bash, but the designs are fairly cartoonist rather than grim-dark.
GW has gotten RIDICULOUS with their pricing. Oh, we're getting away from white metal cause its price fluctuation, but we are going to charge more for plastic.
I'm not the first to say that GW is not even very good at making molds compared to other companies in the same price point. Bandai Gunpla kits for example use the same runner style to make the kits. But the gate connection is hidden under places where it won't scar when you clip it out. GW has been notorious for awful placements of their gates. For the price they charge. I should not have to clean a kit as much as I do. I know it's part of the hobby. But it's lazy and shoddy on GW when they use computer to make up the sculpt. A bit more critical thinking on their part with mold line and gates would cause me to overlook the price inflation. Some Gunpla kits need almost zero cleaning as a comparison.
gunpla kits have WAY more pieces, so its usually possible to hide the gates. Sometimes I am impressed with GW's ability to hide mould lines, sometimes not so much, but I don't think it's 100% because they are just lazy. It has to do with what they are trying to cast, and probably trying to make it so they have less failed casts.
@@Born_Stellar I would have to respectfully disagree with you and your point of it being easier to hide gate marks because there are more pieces. just look at the Lord here and how many pieces he is. The simple act of putting a gate on a place that's exposed in the model where it has to be cleaned, instead of putting it on the inside where you know you're not going to see it is trivial. Assembling the brand new plague Marines for example instead of spending a whole bunch of time adding peg and sockets to force me to assemble a model on the way that they want me to they could have easily just placed the gates at the joint sections where the arms and legs go. As others have pointed out other companies have managed to figure out how to do this without charging an exorbitant amount. I understand that I'm paying GW prices for their brand but they could make a little bit more effort when they use computers to plan their kits that's all.

Great review and liking the new addition of the turntable :)
I like the model but I agree on the pouch location

I like the different terminator armour variant
He's got a flesh fannypack
Papa Nurgle loves you

I quite like them but I agree they are absolutely more cartoony then the old Death Guard range
I think it’s a great model and a very cool addition to the death guard. Great review. 👍🏻
Sold out on GW website tells you all you need to know about price.
Price point trial maybe... "does it sell at this price? can we do everything at this price?" :(
Rather like the model though! :/
I already bought typhus at $50 so for $45 it somehow feels like less of a rip-off.
Have GW ever reversed prices???
@@richardcahill1234 hahahaha good gag richard.

if yo uthink they're bad on this kit, have a look at the genestealer kit LOL mouldline nightmare

I think i regret buying it now.
This boy have too much gasmasks
I wanted to buy this model, but for this price probably skip it.
Awfully big box for such a small model. Not very eco friendly GW.
Lmao. Recyclable.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n You have criticised GW for using excessive packaging many times
Not a fan of this model. Seems to cash grabby.
