This performance of "Sexuality" was part of Taemin's first solo Japanese Arena tour, which was in 2017, so if you watch the whole concert you will discover that the majority of his songs are in Japanese.
LOL, the song's called "Sexulaity," what did you expect? ;)
If you think this performance was sexy, just wait until you see his live performance of "Slave" or "Play Me," etc. Sexuality is fairly tame compared to some of his other performances. LOL Taemin is known for being super sexy when it comes to his solo content. It's just part of who he is, and he does it without even really trying.
Taemin has two types of songs when it comes to his solo work. His songs are either super sexy and sensual or they are technically complex and beautiful. But either way they are always mind blowing. Just take a look at the titles of some of his songs: "Danger," "Soldier" "Sexuality," "Tiger," "Press Your Number," "Guess Who," "Mystery Lover," "Hypnosis," "Slave." "Crazy 4 U," "Play Me," "Flame of Love," " Under My Skin," "Thirsty," "Want," "Criminal," etc. Or "Ace," "Already", "Door, "Pretty Boy," "Move" "Artistic Groove," "Famous," "Idea," etc. Each song is meant to show you exactly why he is one of the best in the industry even just by their titles. I find it interesting that all of his songs, with the titles alone, tell you exactly what Taemin is all about. If you look at the titles of his songs, you will see that the titles convey one of two things about him, either painting a picture of his sexy and sensual onstage personality, or they explain his dedication and passion as an artist.
But that's only his onstage personality. When not on stage, he is actually pretty shy and quiet and he blushes and becomes super awkward when he even tries to flirt with someone. And when he is with the other members of SHINee, there is no doubt that he is the baby of the group. You would never guess he could ever be this sexy on stage.
This is a perfect example of what makes him one of the top performers in the industry and why he is one of the most popular solo artists, as well as a member of SHINee.
And of course, not only is Taemin's dancing amazing, but he is doing it while singing live as well. After all, he is a member of SHINee LOL.
SHINee almost never lip sync during live performances. It's actually more shocking to see SHINee not singing live. That is one of the many things that makes them kings of live performances.
Fun fact: Taemin is performing on a octagonal stage. If you watch the making of video/ documentary for this concert, ua-cam.com/video/eSuG6nGvvlQ/v-deo.html, you will see that Taemin had a really hard time trying to figure out how to perform on a round stage. It took some extra practice and planning for him to understand how to use the round stage. And when he first started out, he had a hard time figuring out where he should be on stage at certain moments. This was his first time ever performing on a stage in the round, and he wasn't used to not having a defined front of the stage. It took him a few performances before he became comfortable with performing with that set design.
As the stream mentioned, Kai and Taemin have a song together already and it's called "Pretty Boy." The song was wrote by Jonghyun and it's all about Taemin's struggles growing up in the public eye and how he is more than just a pretty boy. The song is on Taemin's debut solo album Ace from 2014 and it features Kai as the rapper on the song. You really need to see their comeback stage for "Pretty Boy." Plus, I think you're forgetting that Taemin and Kai are both members of SuperM, so they have performed together now many times. Just watch SuperM's "No Manners" performance in concert with Taemin, Kai, Ten and Taeyong.
