    "With the Entity all but forgotten...." Oh, people in space. It's a rookie move; you hate to see it. ;)
    Thank you for this Mr Cupboard, enjoyed. [Especially the aluminium. ;) (Yes, not only do we say it differently in the UK and her former colonies and current C'wealth, we also spell it differently, fellow Cupboardites from the US)]

      I thought that too! "...and everybody forgot about the evil killing machine beasts." Oh really game, did they, I wonder what we might bump into on our travels...

    What an enjoyable little game with a cheerful dialogue. And of course, you got completely sidetracked once you discovered that it was possible to buy a super-expensive succulent. Forget about important missions and space wrecks to explore - from that moment all that really mattered was to fet that succulent! :D

      What do you mean "and of course, you got completely sidetracked"? That was a one off, that never happens in The Geek Cupbo-ooh look there's a butterfly! It's very pretty, look at the colours on the wings, that's nice.

      ATTENTION To all TGC fans that know how to code game mods: Make a mod for your favourite game which right at the start gives the promise to unlock decorative plants (free of charge/materials/…) BUT only triggers after at least 50 episodes have been released. 😈😈

    Space is big, really big.
    You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

    The solar panel cubes works better if there’s more uncovered sides

      @TheGeekCupboard  11 місяців тому +2

      Ah, I guess that makes sense. Maybe a gigantic tower of them would work so there's always at least four sides gathering light.

      @@TheGeekCupboard that looks like what a bunch of people have done. You could also have a line of normal cubes with solar cubes with an empty space between them. It could probably look cool, since you can use all of the sides and then just cover one side of the solar cube. It also seams like the glass cube can help with that stuff

    That is such a cute game! I saw a similar one on Steam that you might like (where you build your own world like this, not space themed, lol). It just recently came out and is called Outpath. I thought of you when I saw it. 😄

    There are many words we argue about the pronunciation. However you're right about Aluminium.. The American version is Aluminum. NO second I. Grammar is everything in this case. The game uses the British spelling so you're right.

    • @tristanswain7107
      @tristanswain7107 11 місяців тому +1

      I also use the British pronounciation but technically it was an American who created it so they technically say it correctly

    • @TheGeekCupboard
      @TheGeekCupboard  11 місяців тому +4

      According to Google and Wikipedia, aluminium was discovered by a Danish chemist, not an American!

      @@TheGeekCupboard here's straight from Oxford dictionary Origins in 'Alumina'
      Origins in 'Alumina'
      Although the substance aluminum (as we say in the U.S.) is the most abundant of all the metallic elements in the Earth's crust, it does not occur in metallic form in nature; instead it exists in compounds found in almost all rocks as well as in plants and animals. The word alumina, which refers to an oxide of aluminum, has been in use since as far back as 1790, but we didn't start referring to the element itself until a few years later. That's when a British chemist named Sir Humphry Davy came on the lexical scene. The following is from his Electrochemical Researches of the Decomposition of the Earths, read before the Royal Society on June 30, 1808: Sorry I'm an etymology nerd can't help but to keep the discussion going. :)

      @@TheGeekCupboard totally correct, also the word Aluminum itself is a British word coined by Humphry Davy, he then settled for Aluminium, but the Americans adopted the former.

      @@TheGeekCupboard quite possible that I am mistaken, I thought I saw this particular argument on another channel and they said the American pronunciation was correct due to to X,y,z even tho the guy was British.

      Why would you? It's only 15 bucks right now and has plenty of game already in it. It's likely to become bigger - and once it leaves Early Access it will become more expensive as well.
