From one disabled person to another, I could feel your emotions when you went outside after 9 months. I spend most of my time alone. So I understand what being isolated and everything that goes with it. When you were in the garden I could hear you smile. I'm praying you continue to have success. ❤
Myself as well. I live alone and am mostly homebound and bed bound. But I see Eirin and realize she has a much difficult journey than even my own and my heart goes out to her. 😘❤️ But one thing she has that I’m so grateful for is she has love and support. A husband and parents that are there to love, help and support her. That is such a HUGE blessing! And that garden, such a piece of heaven. 🌷🌟💕 I can’t find the help and it’s extremely lonely being alone all of the time. Thankfully I have my sweet dog Ellie Mae. She’s my lifesaver.

I'm a gardener. I appreciate the hard work your mother does. To me, I see a jaw dropping gift that she has given your family. And continues to give. When you see plants so healthy, it means someone is looking deeply into their needs. Healthy plants require healthy soil, and thriving plants are the sign of an empathic artist. It's the gift of both regeneration and constancy. I am a geek at heart, and am wont to throw facts around like confetti, but I will restrain myself to one fact about healthy soil that relates to why I feel your mother's gift so deeply: It is not unusual, in unmolested soils of the forest, to find the soil is 50%, by weight, living organisms. (Trillions and kazillions of living organisms, thriving because of your mother. To them, she is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end) OK, I'll get off the Drama Llama. Yee Haw! And what a difference it all makes when you take your first trip outside in sooo long! Who doesn't love it when a plan comes together? Glad to see you out and about!

Hi Eirin! I was bedridden for months after my accident and I’m mainly homebound now with much time in bed. when you teared up being outside for the first time, I tested up too, because I can relate to some extent what it’s like to be confined to bed. Wishing you healing and light and love ❤️

Just saw this and the moment you cried being outside reminded me when I was released from jail in 2007, after being 6 months, which was the worst experience, but saved my life. It seemed EVERYTHING was new, though they were the same, and the first time I felt the breeze and smelled Lake Erie, it felt like a dream. It's true, you don't appreciate what you have until it's not there/available. Sooo happy for you, and your family thanks for sharing the BEST 10 minutes of your life with us!!!

Your garden is lovely. I’m just retroactively viewing these again. It’s gorgeous. Your mom does a great job on the garden. I used to live in a condo and had two rhododendrons with that exact color on either side of my back patio. They were huge and old so made a ton of flowers. Yours are not so huge and unwieldy and look really nicely kept. Tell your mom my compliments to the gardener. Lol. I used to harden a ton before I couldn’t do much and now I’ve been in bed a lot and understand the wanting to see outdoors and nature a lot better. I am so happy you had that time and this week hoping you get some great views while on your travels to Bergen as it’s spring and flowers are abundant everywhere.

I love green too. I also love the sounds of birds singing. What kinds of birds do you have there? Here where I live, my favorite bird is the Robin. I love their beautiful songs they sing. Thank you so much! 🥰 It absolutely did 🤩 We primarily have finches, robins, great tits, sparrows, crows, magpies and doves in our garden, at the top of my head - and they love the ‘Staghorn sumac’-tree outside my window, so I hear and see them all the time 🥰❤️

I once lived in a home with lots of robins outside even with a nest and my window was right next to a lilac bush so when it was in bloom and my window was open, I was in heaven. 💕 Another bird I love to watch more than listen to is the humming bird. 💕🌷 Thank you for your reply.

I love green too. I also love the sounds of birds singing. What kinds of birds do you have there? Here where I live, my favorite bird is the Robin. I love their beautiful songs they sing. Thank you so much! 🥰 It absolutely did 🤩 We primarily have finches, robins, great tits, sparrows, crows, magpies and doves in our garden, at the top of my head - and they love the ‘Staghorn sumac’-tree outside my window, so I hear and see them all the time 🥰❤️
@@eirinceciliegjedrem Oh I love of those except the magpies. 😆 How lovely to hear them in your tree right outside! I once lived in a home with lots of robins outside even with a nest and my window was right next to a lilac bush so when it was in bloom and my window was open, I was in heaven. 💕 Another bird I love to watch more than listen to is the humming bird. 💕🌷
