Building your own complete turbo system is way harder than you think so once again I admire your give it a go attitude. Plus I thought you did a pretty good job of painting the installed roll cage, that's also way harder than you think.
Wish Dedication Blog was still around because even though you said there was no content - I'd love to know when and how you sold the R8, whats happening with the M4 and the buying process behind the S4 and Range Rover... Those were my favourite vids! Bring Back Dedication - even if it was just for updates and buying processes every once in a while! Cheers Chris!
I'll answer those questions but don't think it would be worth keeping the DB channel around purely for the occasional car update video every few months really. Sold the R8 via RE Performance (an R8/lambo specialist down south who also happened to be the guy who built the GT86 engine for me). Still got the M4 at the moment but tbh since buying the range rover I've not really driven it much - not that the range rover is more fun to drive or anything, but its just more practical and I don't really find myself wanting to drive fast on public roads these days (maybe cos I'm getting old, maybe cos I have 6 points on my license already lol). The S4 was a mistake.... basically I was trying to avoid having to buy something as big as a range rover but that could still tow a trailer with a car on it. Turned out the S4 wasn't quite up to the task as I needed a slightly bigger trailer than I originally thought. Also a lot of people recommended not towing more than 100% of the weight of the car you're towing with and I would have been towing like 140% and it would have been right on the limit of what the S4 can legally tow anyway. So I swapped it for the range rover, still nice inside and has all the mod cons etc but is a lot heavier and can tow way more
ChrisDrift I know but I think you was talking to Jojo when I was going to come over. The track was greasy on some areas but was still fun. Will pop over and say hello next time ☺ the 350z is looking spot on must say.
nah not really battery problems, just went flat cos of it not being driven for a couple of weeks but being started up loads of times to move it around and onto trailer etc. Seems to be fine now
Hey Chris. First off, that trailer is pretty badass! I've been keeping up with your build on IG. Your fab work is steadily improving, but man, I hated to see the hack job you did on poor old thumbkin.👎😲 That shit looked dreadful. Respect for workin' through the pain to get it done in time, though.👊 I think the cage came out quite nice. Those door bars are a different design than I've seen, but looks like an effective one in case of a bad day.👍 The Z is looking pretty sweet and although it may be a while before it happens, I'm looking forward to seeing the turbo setup you come up with. All the best to you, mate. Keep up the good progress.✌
Honestly mate shocked you only got 6k the vid u did with monky london was really good nice to see uk lads doing it not sponsered usa lads all the time easy for them to build a car with free parts massive respect to you

Mate we have a load of these when we work on our cars.... we make a bald yoda fact and add another onto the list.... For example. If Bald Yoda falls in a forrest. Do all the aa and rac men who work on motorway services howl until he is safe....
Hi Chris I like your install vids, I am really interested in your plans for the turbos I was wondering are you planning on fitting twin turbos to a de engine as I have read the stock engine may not take much more than 350 bhp

Cheers! And yeah don't worry I'm not expecting the turbo setup to be easy but I've done quite a lot of research and think we can pull it off
I wasn't doubting your skills. I'm always impressed that your not afraid to try stuff and you get pretty good results.

Awesome! Can't wait for the TT series
I’m guessing Jason Clarke is the man who made the roll cage, his work is phenomenal!
yeah that's the guy
Thanks for the shoutout dude! Glad you're happy with it!
Seen this at pod on Wednesday looked awesome you was behind me in the bmw with white rear and led lights lol.
Oh you should have said hi lol was a fun day once it dried up a bit eh

If your having battery problems you could buy two Cteck trickle chargers and plug the cars in whenever you leave them at the unit. Enjoyed the video

The cage looks great! I wouldn't trade an arm for it but a bit of thumb seems resonable. :) Hope it's feeling better!
Haha yeah seems like a fair trade

If you're not running a passenger seat, the door bars look ideal for clamping my dslr too haha it may mark the paint though.
